There are 5 nations under the North Sea Republic, and two different status. Provinces are nations that are active recruiting bases, and Nation Spawns are nations with a 1 chunk capital, typically inside of a larger town. Nation Spawns are only utilized for the nation spawn and do not recruit outside of specific circumstances.
There are 14 nations fully integrated into the republic.
