Religion

Overview

The national religion is Hellenism combined with the Cult of Alexander the Great, together referred as Alexandrism. The main temple is still under construction, but it will contain the Tomb of Alexander. The practices involve burning and offering sacrifices to the gods.

Doctrine

Alexander the Great is a son of Zeus, sent by the gods to rule over the world. Alexander is a demigod, and after his death he ascended to Olympus where he took over Zeus' title of king of the gods. All kings of Gedrosia are descendants of Alexander (current one being Alexander VI), and have the divine right to rule.

The other important god of the religion is Dionysus, who journeyed past the Indus river, and probably passed though Gedrosia aswell.
