Aurora:Oppole

Oppole, founded in May 2022 by the player sat6678z, is a small regional town in the Polish province of Silesia. The most dominant group is German speaking hence the German Street names etc. The town features a few Residential buildings, two large Public buildings such as a theater and a Town hall. Next to the Theater is the Public park of Oppole.

Early History

Before the Oppole was formally created in May 2022 sat6678z was part of Deutschland. There he was involved in the early days of Frankfurt. However, he decided that he ultimately wanted to help expand the young nation towards the east. After a few days of grinding he collected enough Gold to create a one chunk town. Oppole immediately joined Deutschland where it remained for the next few months. During that time little progress was made and Oppole just claimed 5 Chuncks. With the leadership of Deutschland refusing to aid the new Town Oppole fell into neglect.

Annexation by Silesia

As Oppole was located south of the Neisse River It conflicted with the Silesian Claims on the Region. The Silesian Administration issued a friendly request to join them in June 2022. Oppole underwent great improvements to its Infrastructure and developed as small regional hub. The Player Przaja_Kartoflom connected Oppole to the rest of the newly founded Subway System of Silesia. Its Citizens also peaked at 4 citizens.

Golden Days under Silesia

After Oppole joined Silesia it reached a new. The Town began to develop gradually. The construction of the Theater got completed and new Projects started to begin. A small Market was opened in front of the theater attracting tourists and other Silesians. Furthermore the nation was finally founded in the Autumn of 2022. With that the creation of the first Silesian Parliament came forward. sat6678z managed to get himself elected as one of the new MPs. In the new Parliament decisions on foreign Policy and Projects were made collectively. New Political Parties arose such as the Monarcho-Technocratic Party ran by sat6678z. The main Political targets of this Party was to support The Silesian Monarchy, expand Building Projects and Urbanization of the Region and Ultimately the independence of Silesia. The Golden Era ended for Oppole after the second national elections where sat6678z was not reelected.

Silesian-Polish War

On October 31st, 2022, King KrisusQ of Poland issued an ultimatum to Silesia, after they started to manipulate Polish mayors into joining Silesia. The ultimatum called for the payment of a weekly tax and to become a Polish puppet state. Silesia's queen, Przaja_Kartoflom, refused this demand, resulting in a declaration of war by Poland on the same day at 19:30 CEST. Initially, several major nations such as Khazar and Yukon declared their support for Poland. However, Poland declined their offers of any Material or Human aid. On November 5th, 2022, one official battle was fought near the towns of Kielce and Katowice, which was won by Poland. Following the war's conclusion, Silesia and Poland engaged in negotiations, with Poland eventually recognizing Silesia as part of the Kingdom. This led to the Polish-Austrian war

Continuation Wars

On April 5th, 2023, at 11:30 AM CEST, King KrisusQ of Poland declared a defensive war against the Austrian Empire, claiming that the Austrians had violated Poland's borders illegally. The Austrians, however, countered by stating that the Polish were interested in the annexation of Silesia, a region recently united with the Austrians, forming the Empire. This development led to a conflict between the two nations, and the Austrians subsequently occupied the town of Wilkowyje, located just 20 chunks away from Warsaw. It is worth noting that the two sides rarelly engage in any actual fighting.
