Ötüken, Ötügen or Ötüken Forest, (Old Turkish: 𐰇𐱅𐰜𐰤:𐰖𐰃𐱁, Ötüken yış); It is the sacred capital of the Turks in Central Asia and is also considered sacred by the Mongols. "Ötüken Mountain", a mountain covered with forests, is also considered sacred by the ancient Turks. Etymology

It is derived from the roots (Öt/Öd) and (Ed/Et). It includes the meanings of ötümek (praying), praying (being able) and utağan (uterine bed). It is also connected with the verb "to do". Ötög means bear in Mongolian, and the bear's nest is in the ground and it is also an animal that is considered sacred.
