Aurora:Hamilton

Hamilton is a City in the nation of Vermont. It's immediately north of the Toronto metropolitan area. Created by current Mayor 404aka on June 3rd 2024 as a small suburban town, it quickly blossomed into a vast city, with a peak of ~50 players (as of writing 2/10/2025). Hamilton is home to one of the largest national parks in Vermont, a previously Canadian park, Simcoe National Park (recognized by the Vermont Department of Interior (DOI)). Previously, it was headquartered by Vermont's Office of Central Intelligence, which was disbanded indefinitely on 10/6/2024. The current population fluctuates between 1 and 12, with a median of 5-7.

History

Early History 

On June 3rd of 2024, future mayor Hamilton left the town of Newbury (her first residence in Vermont) to make her first created town (2nd as mayor) of Hamilton. The first created road was Monterno Lane, which is now one of the longest roads in Hamilton, with is parallel to West Street. Monterno Lane hosts some of the most important buildings, such as leading immediately south to the former OCI-Now Hamilton City Council-Headquarters, Eposz Park, Hilton Hotel, City Hall, and the UN Headquarters in Hamilton, just to list a few.

Toronto Unclaimed 

On July 10th of 2024, the neighboring city and capital of Canada, Toronto, would unclaim a major portion of land, including the YC Condos, Simcoe National & (condemned & demolished) Thee HQ, 1 unnamed general use tower and 2 unnamed residential towers, the tallest of which being YC Condos. Hamilton went on to claim all of these buildings, leaving the industrial/manufacturing area of Toronto for the third created neighboring town.

Neighboring Cities 

Sudbury 

On June 5th of 2024, a neighboring city, known as Sudbury was made by former mayor Theresa_Apokalis (current mayor AvumsStudent). It is immediately north-east of Hamilton. Sudbury and Hamilton would grow to have a close relationship, as both would assist each other logistically and economically.

West Nipissing 

On August 25th of 2024, a neighboring town, known as West Nipissing would be made by mayor and founder SoftPlains09299. It's immediately North of Hamilton.

Bennington 

The fourth neighboring city to Hamilton would be named Bennington on November 2nd of 2024, owned and found by Wind2920 (previously known as Wind29298060), and would claim the rest of the old Toronto unclaimed regions. It is immediately south-east of Hamilton. The expansion of Bennington still continues to this day (2/10/2025), recently claiming the fallen ruins of NASA (owned previously by MarshalMaverick).

Soldier Field 

The fifth neighboring settlement to Hamilton would be named Eras Tour by founder and mayor LavishNick on November 21st 2024. It is based off of the Eras Tour concert stage, used by Taylor Swift. At an unknown date, the nation of Lake Taylor was made, and the only known nation leader is LavishNick. At an unknown date, Eras Tour separated from Vermont and became the capital of Lake Taylor, swiftly admitted to the Vermont Meganation as a member-state. On February 2nd of 2025, LavishNick disbanded the nation of Lake Taylor following an internal Vermont dispute, leaving the Vermont Meganation and joining Illinois, where the town was soon renamed to Soldier Field.

New Hamilton 

The sixth neighboring town to Hamilton would be named New Hamilton on September 16th of 2024, owned and found by MArast317. It is immediately South-west of Hamilton. Not much information is known as of writing this article about this town.

Ina 

The seventh neighboring town to Hamilton would be created October 22nd of 2024 and named Ina by previous founder MassiveSturdy40 (current governing mayor Myst3ryH03). It is a small settlement just north-east of Bennington.

Pembroke 

The eighth neighboring town to Hamilton would be created January 4th of 2025 named Pembroke by founder and mayor TLK106. It is a small village just east of Sudbury.

NASA 

The ninth neighboring town to Hamilton would be named NASA, previously owned and found by MarshalMaverick. It was immediately south-east-east of Hamilton. Not much information is known as of writing this article about this town.

Hulanda 

The tenth neighboring town to Hamilton would be named Hulanda by The_Swan_Gamer, the current mayor of Hulanda.
