Laurentide's history dates back to the 15th of may where a dedicated player "CheesyTomatos" decided to help his friend's nation with recruiting and preventing overclaiming from near by towns, soon enough, CheesyTomatos made his own town to do his own thing and recruit for the nation, at first things were going great. Still, the ever-growing concern of the inactivity of Labrador kept looming over the town's dedication. Soon enough CheesyTomatos offered to buy Labrador for 600 gold which was the price Aland bought it for, 7kar swiftly rejected the offer and asserted his dominance over the colonials, It soon became clear that Verlied had no control or influence over his Nation which was considered to be a Province of Aland, and was forcefully under the jurisdiction of Aland due to it being purchased by the Alandian Monarch. Soon enough, Verlied attempted to get it sold to CheesyTomatos, where the first problems arrose in where diplomacy broke down between the two individuals, one who lived in the land claimed by the crown and one who lived across the Atlantic.

Initially there was a town made near the Labrador capital city "Saint Lawrence" a nation wasn't planned at the start, the true plan was to split the city in half to prevent overclaiming this plan was soon vetoed by the monarch 7kar of Aland, which angered the colonials who had been growing Labrador. Due to frustration with the current leadership in power silencing Verlied the leader of the Nation Labrador which is claimed as a province under Aland's jurisdiction, it was decided to make a nation on the 20th of May 2025, soon one of Labradors major towns "Quebecia" joined the new Nation of Laurentide solidifying the Laurentide's as the dominant power in lower Quebec region.

It's important and as such required to add how the government of the nation functions. Obviously, anything secretive can be left out entirely, but outright wrong information is not okay. If this creates conflict contact a wiki mod about the issue. This can be very simple (EX Sealand is a monarchy with an emperor who rules all affairs of state, diplomacy, and military), or incredibly complicated, as long as theirs something.

Additionally, it's important to write about the military, whether there is one or not. Like government, this can be very simple or very complicated at your discretion. If a nation only uses militia, feel free to just write that or detail them. If a nation has no military whatsoever and refuses to ever fight, that's another relevant point and should be discussed in the tab.

This can also be named Architecture/World wonders/whatever. This will be required for new wiki pages on nations in addition to town pages, but nations can obviously use buildings from any member town or any "territory" it owns. Natural wonders are perfectly fine as well.

This is a required field to detail important members of the town historically or currently, so it's easier to tell which people are in which area and to get a better idea of the region. This can be organized in a list, for example:

== National Subdivisions ==
This isn't required but is highly recommended to help add space and add meat to your article, mostly for larger or federal nations. This refers to towns, states, provinces, autonomous regions, or other smaller sections of a nation that can be described individually. This IS optional however. This is specified so it's more clear, for example you could have a subdivision for each province or colony. Generally it's at your discretion.
