The Esperance Reprisal took place on 11 October 2024, and was part of the Great Australian War.
4 days after war had been declared, a group of 6 Pilbaran soldiers, led by Kobikraft, attempted to hunt the mayor of Esperance as well as other Australians present. The mayor, UWU_Lerry, was combat tagged and chased, but escaped to a bunker in the town. An Australian PvPer, Vations, arrived at the scene and engaged in battle with the Pilbarans. After prolonged PvP, the Pilbarans withdrew, and the Australians celebrated Vations' defence of the town.
The altercation was seen as a victory by Australia, due to Vations successfully averting the Pilbarans. However, Pilbara insisted that the withdrawal did not signify their defeat. The Esperance reprisal caused no significant changes in the Great Australian War.
