Massachusetts, is a Nation on EarthMC Terra Nostra, it was established on the 25th of April, 2026 with the City of [[Salem]] as its Capital City and with [[Jacquemon]] as the in game leader, it is shaped by a diverse community of various peoples, and currently has an interim government. Massachusetts, prior to its establishment on Terra Nostra was initially planned by a group of Emcers who originated from [https://laurentides-earthmc.fandom.com/wiki/Laurentides Laurentides], [[Yakutia]] and the Nation of Maine on [[Terra Aurora]]. They had grouped up together on the 18th of January and had only 5 Group Chat members, which quickly grew to 20 prior to Nostra launching with due to the help of the newly announced Massachusetts Build Server which launched on the 10th of February ET which was hosted on Aternos, although moved to a 24/7 server host on the 13th. This build server became the centre of the community until Nostra released on the 17th of April. Khaledmkma, a member of the Massachusetts Discord Community had managed to establish Boston which was the first city to ever get established in New England within an hour of Nostra releasing. Unlike his friends, he had managed to spawn in North America, specifically in the North Western Quebec Region, modern day Ungava. However his luck had not ran out because he also won 64 gold from a Vote Crate; which led to him rushing over to the planned City of Boston which was planned by a community member Bear4919, Jacquemon had coordinated Khaledmkma via the dynmap and soon Khaledmkma was able to establish Boston which was soon joined by its sister City Salem which was founded 30 minutes later and the future Capital City of Massachusetts. A little over a day later, Irongamer54 an individual who had planned on creating Massachusetts and the City of Boston, soon joined Salem and expressed interest in establishing a City named Foxboro due to the name Boston getting taken; this plan was soon abandoned after he lost all his gold by leaving it in the wilderness this led to him leaving Salem and joining Montreal. | |||

Flag of Massachusetts
Although the flag adopted by the Nation of Massachusetts share little similarity with the Real Life one, it is seen by the general public as aesthetically appealing.
