Origins
Server Rebranding
Our Qing Discord server is being rebranded to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Community Discord server in preparation for the EMC reset.

Prior to the release of Nostra, the community of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth mostly consisted of players from the Qing Dynasty, a nation located in East Asia. Following the announcement of EarthMC's 3rd reset, the Qing community (much like the majority of players in the rest of EMC) was caught at a time of uncertainty, where it had to be decided what their successor nation would be. Along the month of October 2025, TheMagicTom, back then Qing's leader, had launched a series of polls to decide what their next nation would be. Originally contesting with Prussia and the Kingdom of Portugal, the choice to make the Commonwealth won the poll and became the consensus.
During the following months, other communities that were caught at the crossroads (some familiar and friendly with Qing) decided to join the Commonwealth cluster, particularly the players of Aland, Baltic, Crusader States, Kazakhstan, and Poland. With new faces coming into the scene, the newly-formed PLC group had managed to amass an amount of 30 premium players, thus becoming one of the largest and best-organized pre-reset communities alongside France, Japan and Australia. Under the leadership of TheMagicTom and thanks to Huxf's organization skills, the stage was set and a plan was set in motion for the in-game creation of the PLC.

On the day of the start of Terra Nostra, April 17th, Warszawa gets founded by TheMagicTom. The name 'Warsaw' was taken by a group in Africa that will be important to conflicts with the PLC. Certain pre-planned towns were also made. One of those players who name sniped 'Warsaw' in Africa, Mlecz, creates the town 'Poland' on the vistulan riverside, acting as a direct competitor to Warszawa.
The following day (April 18th),TheMagicTom Creates the Nation of PLC. With its capital being Warszawa. A few more towns were created across Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and were promptly invited to the Nation.
On the 20th of April, Warszawa changed its name to Warsaw, after the town of 'Warsaw' disbanded.
On 22nd of April, Latvijaa (Mayor of Riga) got banned from the server for using x-ray and the newly founded nation of Poland declared the PLC an enemy, however, one of the chancellors reassured the people of the PLC that they would not provoke them or be provoked by them.
On the 24th of april, the shop in Warsaw was finished and public.
The Two Polands Problem

Recently, a group of players settled in Polish-Lithuanian claims and established the nation of "Poland". Despite our amicability, they have continued to try and undermine our stability by bribing and catcalling our Polish players, harassing anyone who wasn't a Pole and creating invasive towns next to ours. They have provoked us, and we decide we'll give these degenerates retaliation.
Our ultimatum calls for "Poland" to enter in diplomatic talks within the next 24 hours. Failing to comply with this order will lead to a declaration of war.

On the 25th, King TheMagicTom addressed Poland's anti-PLC behaviour and sent the above message in regards to the nation of Poland taking land in PLC claims. Mlecz had then replied calling him "a childish leader" and replied to other sincere requests from the Chancellor, Karabines, using words like "Yip Yap" and "BOOOOORING". Following this, Mlecz released a Counter-Ultimatum that copied TheMagicTom's words almost exactly. You can see it in the following Block quote.

26th of April, Poland fails to share diplomatic talks with the PLC. King TheMagicTom exactly 24 hours after offering the ultimatum delivers a message targetted towards the nation of Poland starting the war of the two Polands. Poland responded through their 'PolandAI' bot that they would not surrender. Mlecz then took to the PLC Discord to argue with the empowered. Spain then stood with the PLC to criticise Poland and gave the following speech to the people of Spain:
I, Alejandro de Borbón, Prince of Spain and President of the Council of State of the Kingdom, in the exercise of the extraordinary powers conferred upon me by the state of emergency established on April 25, wish to express the unwavering position of this Crown regarding the recent challenges to geopolitical stability in Europe. In fulfillment of our commitment to our friendly nation, the Polish-Lithuanian Confederation, the Kingdom of Spain strongly and unequivocally condemns the rebel faction calling itself "Poland" currently under the insurgent command of Mlecz. We consider this organization to be illegitimate, representing a direct threat to the constitutional order of our allies.
Consequently, and with the aim of safeguarding the integrity of international relations, I announce the immediate imposition of a total and absolute trade embargo on the aforementioned rebel nation. This measure implies the cessation of any exchange of goods, services and capital, as well as the closure of our trade borders to any product that seeks to finance the destabilization of the Confederation.

On 30th of April Poland creates a town called 'Poland_Siege' on the southern border of Warsaw, also likely intentionally preventing the city from expanding southwards, to where Warsaw was meant to expand with time.

We just bought the nation of Poland for the price of 3600 gold. Thanks to the contributions of our entire nation, we managed to score a quick deal for their capital and their nation altogether, finishing in less than a week our war with the Poles.

Grand Chancellor 7Kar of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
On 2nd of May, Poland, with the capital recently renamed to 'Epic_Warsaw', was bought by the PLC for 3,600 gold (raised by residents and the elite in a 'mining event') when it was bought by someone after it was accidentally put for sale for 0 gold by Mlecz. Soon after, a remaining Polish chancellor kicks out all the towns from the nation.
PLC vs Polska
4th of May at 7:22pm, the nation of 'Polish_State' is formed, based on an identically named country from Nova, but then the administration changes its name to 'Greater_Poland'. They invite every town from previous Poland into the new nation. Epic_Warsaw is renamed to Warszawa. A battle then occured between the PLC town of East_Prussia and a few people from the new Polish nation.
On the 10th of may, Greater_Poland changed its name for a second time to Polska (Polish for 'Poland') after an appeal ticket.

On the 6th of May, the nation of Uruguay joined the PLC as an overseas territory/colony. On the same day Vifter, Duke of Ukraine, finished building the PLC's Map art canvas. The PLC's First map art was an advertisement for the PLC's shop, followed by a few music albums. Another map art canvas was made in the town of Warschau (formerly Poland_Seige).
Soviet X Polish Lithuania border treaty.
On the 14th of May 2026, Ossikind (President of the USSR) and TheMagicTon (King of the PLC) signed a border treaty. The following is what has been agreed apon by both parties:
Towns already beyond the borders are recognized as enclaves and may not change nations either. These include Odessa, Slobozia, Kherson, Dnirpo, Zaporizhzhzia, Aqyar (all Soviet Union), and Black Sea, Smolensk, Kinburn, Yamen and Shangri-La (all P.L.C.). 'Polska' reclaims 'Poland'
Bobbobster or Bobster (a player of Polska) reclaimed Warszawa, therefore claiming the entirety of the nation of Polska.
The first election
The discord was updated on the 14th to include the channels 'sejm convocations', 'sejm applications', 'elections', 'candidacies'. It was revealed that there would be a 48 hour buffer period until true elections could happen. The Grand Chancellor election was between 7Kar (the provisional Grand Chancellor) and bartoszmakoksa (also known as Sygmus_Pieruński_Prajem on the discord).
On the 20th of may, the electoral victors were revealed. The may 20th 'Kyiv Press' newspaper showed that out of 32 total votes, 71.9% voted for 7Kar to be Grand Chancellor again, leaving bartoszmakoksa with only 28.1% of the votes.

On the 2nd of June, Polish leader, Bobbobster had likely given up the nation to the PLC. What resulted from this was a PLC event called "POLAND IS OURS". people of all nations teleported to Warszawa as the leaders of the PLC set up TNT everywhere around the main 'Palace' of Warszawa. At roughly 5 pm, the first TNT were detonated, PLC officials all lined up infront of the crater as the people took screenshots with them and the ruins. Poland was now PLC's again, and Polska no longer had the ownership of the location of irl Warsaw.

As all attempts at negotiations have collapsed, Ukraine declares independence from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
The top government of the PLC refused to engage in meaningful dialogue, clinging to their imperialistic vision of a so-called union — one where member states are denied autonomy, where a king unilaterally dictates the borders of other duchies, and where the decisions of the central authority systematically harm weaker nations to sustain an empire built on inequality and control. The failure of these negotiations leaves us no choice but to assert our independence.

After planning thoroughly, Ukraine had declared independance from the PLC. This was foreseen in the PLC News channel, where a Ukrainian mayor had stated his annoyance to "The Inequality of the PLC". Shortly afterwards the PLC declared war on Ukraine.

The Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth is a monarchy, despite this, the PLC has a government with various roles. These roles will be mentioned in the following quote.
• Defense: Ensures the safety of the nation through PvP, siege towns and strategies that improve the strength and resistance of the PLC.
• Culture: Organizes the more cultural aspects of EMC and the PLC community, creating events, managing sports teams, keeping contact with major event organizations, etcetera.
• Economy: Deals with the national economy, managing projects to improve it and repairing any holes it may have.
• Internal Affairs: Takes care of the internal problems of the nation, managing its institutions to ensure there is no discord within the Commonwealth.
• Agriculture: Manages and oversees the production sector of the Commonwealth, creating and improving farms or anything that's capable of creating wealth and wellbeing for the nation.
• Infrastructure: Provides the necessary infrastructure to make towns more accessible, functional and/or aesthetically pleasing.
• Foreign Affairs: Takes care of the PLC from the international standpoint, engaging in diplomacy with other nations and reaching resolutions with them.
Important Note: The king is not to change unless he says he does say he resigns.

EMESCO European Regional Office
Primary building and organisation of the town of Naleczow founded and built by SamborP. This is EMESCO's office for managing european heritage sites and cultural care. It is also the only town in the PLC to have a mayor that is apolitical to conflict across the world. Here you can find it's Discord.
Chernobyl
Chernobyl shares its real life counterparts reactor and a ferris wheel alike the one in the abandoned town of Pripyat. It generally feels nice to walk around.
Gdansk
Has some of the best architecture in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Also one of not too many coastal PLC towns.
BoberTown
A unique beaver dam and town built on the River Vistula/Wisła, Very well built and fun to visit.
Map Art Canvases
There are four Map Art Canvases in the PLC. These being 'Ukraine', Turkey, Mapart and Lubin.

PLC Map-Art Rules
1. Usage Duration: The standard canvas usage limit is 1 day, unless otherwise agreed upon with the Canvas Owner.
2. Citizens vs. Foreigners: • PLC Citizens: Can use the Canvas for free. • Foreigners: Can choose between two different payment options: • Option 1: 10g per day, but you may only sell the map art at /t spawn Warsaw. (If you are caught selling at other shops, you will be blacklisted). • Option 2: 40g per day, giving you the freedom to sell your map art wherever you want.
3. Griefing: Any form of griefing will result in an immediate addition to the blacklist.
4. Copyright: We request all art pieces to be copyrighted, but letters and numbers are exceptions. Reason: Maparts will keep there value more in this way.
5. Sales & Shop Organization: The map art shop at /t spawn Warsaw is divided into specific Categories. Please request trust/permissions in the specific quarter that matches your map's category. To do this, send a message to the Minister of Art

More about the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
in 1569, The Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and Grand Duchy of Lithuania unified via the Union of Lublin into the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was a superpower around the 16th and 17th century and it west best known for its Winged Hussars (an elite cavalry military division that had metal wings on their armour.) Later on, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth got partitioned by the Russian Empire, Kingdom of Prussia and Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria (Austria-Hungary) until the country ceased to exist in 1795.
