Early History
The Primitive start
Florida's history began with Senpaii_soupp landing in the Wisconsin region of the United States. She ran for roughly one hour to get to the spot where Miami's first chunk was. Once she arrived in Florida, Soup began the grind to get 64 gold to create Florida's first town. Soup created Miami on April 17th 2026.
During this time, xTheWardenx and Crisp017 had landed in Siberia and were trekking to the United States. Once Soup created Miami, the grind to create the nation of Florida began. On April 21st 2026, the Nation of Florida was created thanks to the efforts of our team.
Florida soon found itself in a head-to-head contest with the rival nation of Sunbelt over the claim to the name and territory of Florida. Although Sunbelt came close to securing the name, the competition was ultimately won by the Great State of Florida. Sunbelt subsequently accepted the outcome and retained its own national identity.
History
Following the conclusion of the dispute, Florida and Sunbelt reached a diplomatic agreement known as the Tampa Accords. Under the terms of the agreement, Sunbelt would establish and develop Disney World, while Florida would retain governance over the remainder of the state.
Unfortunately, Sunbelt's plans for Disney World were cut short when the nation was robbed of its gold reserves, preventing the completion of the project. What was intended to become Disney World would ultimately be left abandoned, with the area eventually becoming known as the Ruins of Disney Springs.
Florida made efforts to establish further communication with Sunbelt's leader, Raptormm4, in hopes of continuing diplomatic cooperation. However, these efforts ultimately went unanswered, bringing further cooperation between the two nations to an end.
Florida went on to work with other nations in the region to establish the Memphis Accords. The Accord established recognized national borders and helped secure peace between the major powers of North America. It was signed by the Republic of Acadia, Commonwealth of America, Florida, Estados Unidos Mexicanos (United Mexican States), State of New York, Republic of Texas, and the United States Empire.
The Memphis Accords marked the beginning of Florida's growing role in North American diplomacy. As Florida continued to expand its relationships with other nations, it would go on to establish additional agreements, including the Florida Quebec Non-Aggression Pact, the Florida Cuba Friendship Pacts, and the Canadian Friendship Pact. These agreements further strengthened Florida's diplomatic ties and commitment to peaceful relations throughout the region.
