On the 19th of February 2020 Cascadian recon noticed strange movement by the nation of Haida's leader xOreoToast. Presidential Candidate Unbent/Handsome_Jack was fixing griefed areas around the Washington, Salish and Cascadian borders when he was notified by Washington Leader BonZZil that landmines had been placed around the area. A majority of the mines were centered by the Columbia river road to Cascadia, and several more around other major transportation routes around Washington. | |||
After being asked if he had approved the mining of Cascadian roads, Salish President Vorobyevite claimed such actions were not taken against Cascadia. This event still angered many Cascadians though, after hearing Salish wished to take a more diplomatic approach to the civil crisis. The Cascadian government had also received mixed information from the Salish government about the mines. This event could also have a serious effect on the upcoming Cascadian elections.
