This is the highley urbanized region around El Obeid and includes the land around lake Nuba, south towards the Sudd Swamp, east towards the ruins of An Nahud and North towards Ed Damer. It contains a large portion of the population of Nubia. this area also includes kraftier, Nubia 5th largest city.
