Construction was begun by Cheeseknife on April 9, 2019. Early building efforts were hampered due to the constant theft of the white concrete blocks of the ship's waterline, as well as other decorative blocks on the ship's superstructure. Finally, on April 24th, Gremyashchy was first founded. However, another technical problem arose when about half of the ship Gremyashchy could not be claimed due to its proximity to the coastal town of [[Vangash]]. Thankfully, moderator :Syn: very helpfully responded and came up with the novel solution of sailing the ship (who am I kidding, it was world edit) slightly to the north to prevent it from interfering with Vangash's claims, even refunding wasted gold from the town's initial creation. For this reason, Syn was awarded the Order of Ushakov, 1st class for indispensable service to the town, and is always welcome on board the Gremyashchy. Syn's medal and citation are on display in the ship's visitor centre, awaiting collection. | Finally, on April 24th, Gremyashchy was first founded.
