The EarthMC world is actually not flat, when you go to the world border, it loops you to the other side! This makes traveling through the left / right borders of the map makes it the fastest method of travel in the game, traveling almost the maximum distance possible.
The easternmost capital is Fiji and the westernmost capital is Hawaiian_Islands (I think)
