During the beginning of EMC Aurora, when the Middle East was still barren, Mesopotamia set out to create an oasis & breathe life into the empty desert. First was the King and his decree "none shall starve" So we created bread. Next was the creation of the Ziggurat, "if you nowhere to go then live with me." So, we housed 77 players." Finally, was the Tower of Bable. The King LookingDizzy told us, "Build me a tower that pierces the heavens, and we shall acquire heaven's treasure."
Government
The Government uses a Monarchy with the King having absolute authority. As such, the King will appoint representatives based on his arbitrary and biased decision making. Representatives will speak on behalf of an absent king as his good will ambassadors.

Culture is very diverse in Babylon- with Sumerian, Akkadian, Amorite, Kassite, Assyrian, Chaldean, Achaemenid, Hellenistic, Parthian, Sasanian, and Muslim. The majority religion is Sunni Islam, but the state is secular and this allows for other religions.
