The Archdiocese of Rome is the ecclesiastical territory under the jurisdiction of the Pope therefore making the archdiocese a physical representation of the papacy and the Holy See. The Archdiocese of Rome was the first ecclesiastical territory established on Terra Aurora and remains the longest standing religious territory on the server.

On Terra Aurora, the archdiocese is seated in Rome, Papal States and oversees its neighboring nations including Genoa, Venice, and Croatia. The cathedral for the archdiocese is the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran in Rome while St. Peter's Basilica is being constructed in Vatican City.

The Archdiocese of Rome was originally founded in Rome on February 10th, 2022, but transcended from Terra Nova following the migration to Terra Aurora on May 1st, 2022. The ecclesiastical territory on Terra Nova is no longer maintained by the Holy Catholic Church.
