History
The War Between Papua & Rio Grande
On the 14th of September 2025, The Mariana Trenches Community Leader (gfroi) and chief of war & conquest (Ophir18062014) decided to declare war on Rio Grande.
Rio Grande's First Moves
on the 15th of september, Aqua_like_water was working on Map art in the wilderness on a canvas outside of Guam. Unexpectedly, JudexMaximus (leader of rio grande) had Combat tagged him and defeated him. Judex had tried to reason with Aqua but Aqua instead asked for the wool used to be placed in a chest, which Judex just scoffed at and told Aqua that he could get some for free at Ob, Aqua then went back to the canvas and continued. Later that day someone was spotted in invis wandering around the Mariana Trench by Aqua_like_water. Upon chasing the player into the surface above the trench (to wait for invis to end) Aqua got Combat Tagged in the wilderness. Once the player fled, Aqua used /whisper on JudexMaximus and told him that he knew the player was him. Without confirming if the player was him (which it must have been) Judex threatened Aqua, The Mariana Trench and Papua new guinea.

spawn
The spawn of The Mariana Trench is similar to that of the aztec pyramids in real life. In the inside it contains a gold donation box, a bulletin board, an enchanting table and a warehouse (A place where townsfolk can leave and retrieve blocks).on the outside it has donation boxes for sand, grass, gravel & dirt, auto smelters filled with blaze rods and auto composters. Atop Spawn is a large pillar of water to the surface.
the housing district (unofficial name)
An area north-east from spawn, where residents can claim plots, build houses and form farms. Directly north of spawn behind TheWildman100's plot, is a cave built by Sweetpopov connecting spawn to the housing district as an alternate route from the main pathway.
