The Mexican-Republic is a nation on Terra Nostra. It was established by Jakadextr and was originally named Aztec_Empire. After passing through several owners, the nation became a colony of Australia on June 18, 2026. StarsTerra purchased it from Australia on July 10, 2026. Its capital, formerly named Mungaroona, was renamed Mexico-City on July 13, 2026.
History
Foundation and early ownership
According to 4daniel, Jakadextr established the nation and created its capital town on April 17, 2026, the first day of Terra Nostra. The nation was originally named Aztec_Empire. A later in-game record listed May 16, 2026, as the nation's founding date.
Jakadextr later sold the nation to dobusta. Dobusta subsequently sold it to CaptainOFCopper, who later sold it to 3daniel, also known as 4daniel.
During 4daniel's ownership, several buildings were constructed and approximately 60 residents were recruited. 4daniel later sold the nation to Australia.
United Nations
On May 31, 2026, Mexican-Republic was listed as a founding member of an EarthMC international organization called the United Nations.
The organization's founding announcement also listed the Republic of Ethiopia, Timor Leste, Micronesia, the Kingdom of Western Cape, the Kingdom of Carpathia, and Papua New Guinea as founding members. It stated that the founding nations would receive automatic positions on the United Nations Security Council pending interim elections.
In later records reviewed for this article, Mexican-Republic was no longer listed as a member. The date and circumstances under which it ceased to appear are unknown.
Australian colonial period
Australia purchased Mexican-Republic from 4daniel, and the nation officially became an Australian colony on June 18, 2026.
According to Panth_r, Australia acquired the nation while Texas was interfering in Australian affairs. Following the conclusion of Australia's conflict with Texas, the territory was considered no longer necessary and was eventually offered for sale.
The person holding the nation in-game changed several times during the Australian colonial period, although control remained with Australia. Gautomy was one of the known holders.
According to 4daniel, Australian administrators removed items belonging to residents after acquiring the nation. 4daniel further stated that a resident named Jxebie subsequently caused extensive destruction in the capital. 4daniel believed that Australia later carried out limited repairs before offering the nation for sale.
While under Australian control, Mexican-Republic declared war against Liao. The conflict later fizzled out, and no winner was officially announced to the public.
Acquisition by StarsTerra
StarsTerra purchased Mexican-Republic from the Australian Government on July 10, 2026. The territory comprised 402 chunks at the time of the acquisition.
As of July 10, visible damage remained throughout the capital town. This included deep holes in the ground, damaged buildings, and chests that had been looted.
Following the transfer, the StarsTerra Government was established, with Mungaroona initially serving as the capital. Its priorities became infrastructure development and increasing economic output through the construction and development of farms.
On July 13, 2026, StarsTerra renamed the capital town from Mungaroona to Mexico-City.

Military
Governments before the StarsTerra acquisition did not establish an official standing army. Military activity was instead conducted by temporary and informal groups of players assembled for short periods.
Under StarsTerra, no standing personnel-based military was recognized. StarsTerra held the view that wars were won through economic power rather than direct assaults involving attacks against enemy players or griefing. Under this approach, the nation's financial resources and economic output were regarded as the basis of its military power.
