Quebec (officially the Empire of Quebec or the Quebecois Empire) is a multinational entity largely located in North America. A full member of the meganation of Canada, the Empire contains four constituent member nations, including the nation of Quebec and four other nations also called "territories", which all possess full self-government. Quebec makes up about two-thirds of the Empire's total population. Member nations all elect members of the legislature, and territories contained within continental North America or in its immediate vicinity may also choose to send their own representatives to the Canadian parliament.

General information

A Francophone country, the Constitution of Quebec considers the French language to be "a central part of Quebecois identity." Business is largely conducted in English, and public government information is made available in French and English.

Under the Constitution of Quebec, citizens are granted freedom of expression, assembly, religion, as well as the right to vote and own property.
