Washington is an in-game nation under the integrated administration of the Republic of Cascadia. It is treated for all purposes as a direct part of the in-game nation of Cascadia, and all citizens and mayors have the same rights in Cascadia as any mayors in the in-game nation. It was purchased by Cascadia on October 8th, 2022, as a result of the Six-Hour War waged by Oregon against Cascadia. Prior to this, Washington was a Grand Duchy within the Oregon Empire, under the rule of Grand Duke __Bon. The Grand Duchy of Washington was founded on June 30th, 2022 by __Bon, with its capital in what was then named Walla Walla, now Petrograd. On July 5th, Washington joined the Oregon empire as a province after Oregon succeeded from California and declared itself an independent empire.
