Northwest (Cascadian House constituency)

Northwest was an electoral division in Cascadia containing what was then the northwesternmost territory of the Republic of Cascadia, with a majority of its population located on Vancouver Island. Created during the inaugural election of the House of Representatives in the August 2022 Electoral Law Decree, it returned three representatives to the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cascadia on the system of Score Voting. It was only contested once, before its abolition the following election; however did see the very first resignation from the House of Representatives, and the process to fill the seat. It was mostly replaced by the constituency of Frontier in the following election, however some parts became part of the Salish constituency.
Geography
As constituencies in Cascadia are based only on their contained towns, rather than defined geographic boundaries, there were no defined borders. However, it was characterized by Vancouver Island, and the territory in Cascadia directly to the north of it. It contained 3 towns.
