History

Foundation

Zealandia was founded by Baconmayonaise1, Khaled, Orbious, and Snowy_23. Khaled was a diligent miner and donator who was dedicated to helping the nation. Port Jason and Sailport combinded into one government forming a State in Havaiki, and soon West_Cape joined them. The capital of the District/State was chosen to be Port Jason due to them being the biggest in the District and Nation. And Port Jason we're the first to enlist citizens for military purposes. And brought bases to towns in the District too.

The District of Jason it was named and formed. And soon enough had control over South Island and some of North Island.

Port Jason

Port Jason was created on March 31st 2024. The mayor, Baconmayonaise1, comes from New Mexico and fled due to corruption of previous New Mexican leadership before it got sold. Orbious was also a key part to the founding of Port Jason and Sailport. So were the other founding members. Before joining Havaiki, mayor Baconmayonaise1 planned to recruit before joining, gathering 3 members which were: Snowy_36 TheJTime and Scrambledtots. These members including Baconmayonaise1 became known as the founding members. 3 days after the founding of Port Jason left the nation Aotearoa they joined a better nation called New Havaiki which was the name of Havaiki at the time. Port Jason quickly became popular within the nation after all the members seeing how active the players were and how it rapidly grew into a larger and larger town before hitting a month anniversary.

Port Jason received 1800 gold as a donation by an anonymous individual who Baconmayonaise1 refers to as 'Jason'. Only few know Jason's true identity. Following the donation, the town reached a 100 chunks milestone and consequently became the most populated city in New Zealand, surpassing 20 people.

Port Jason

The town of Port Jason is the largest city within Zealandia and is the capital of the District of Jason. Port Jason is often considered to be the New York of New Zealand and considers themselves number one in infrastructure and manufacturing. The current largest religion within Port Jason is Christianity, heavily influenced by Pope Leo who was a member of New Mexico. The town is now known as the economic capital of New Zealand, and has its town open to nation members to teleport and visit there via /t spawn Port_Jason.
