Papua New Guinea is a town founded by AlexIsBased on the 3rd of March 2024. The town of Papua New Guinea is alternatively called New Ireland (which is the island that this town is on). As of November 2024 this town is home to 16 residents.
Buildings
EnderDucky's House
One of the oldest buildings in Papua New Guinea's history, the house of Mayor EnderDucky17 has 4 floors; the last one being a storage room. This house was built during the Lost Age in between the two former towns. By the time of the founding of Papua New Guinea, this house had only an attic and a main floor with no other levels. All the other levels were constructed in recent times. The storage room is currently in improvements and there are set to be many rooms for different things - one for wool and dye, one for ores and smelting, etc.
History
1 - Wilderness Age
This age began on the 1st of May 2022 and ended around March 2023. The first town of Papua New Guinea was founded by AlexIsBased. He spawned in Asia and had to run all the way to Papua where he established his first town on the 2nd of March 2023. After he founded the first town, EnderDucky17 lived in the town but was never a resident of the town. Firstly, AlexIsBased joined the town of Norway to get some gold to fund his town, and then boated to Papua because Bougainville was already taken. Later EnderDucky17 joined the town. He spawned in the Himalayas but ran all the way here. Neither of them were very active on the server, and as such, the first town of Papua New Guinea was dismantled by the 42-day inactivity on the 16th of April.
2 - Lost Age
This age began around April 2023 and ended on the 3rd of March 2024 with the establishment of the current state of Papua New Guinea. During this time none of the original two founders (EnderDucky17 and AlexIsBased) logged on. Around this time, in the island of New Ireland, two towns by the names of Sports Territory (August 21 2023 - 13 October) and New Ireland (October 17 2023 - January 2) and fell later on. After the two towns fell, AlexIsBased returned to EarthMC, followed soon by EnderDucky17, around the beginning of March. They were both townless and founded the town of Papua New Guinea (the town on which this article is about!) on the 3rd of March, 2024, thus ending the Lost Age.
3 - Exploration Age
This age began on the 3rd of March 2024 and ended on the 6th of July with the establishment of Tenjin, a city on New Britain close to Papua New Guinea. Stuff was built around the town, most notably the Nether Highways by EnderDucky17. Many of the wooden houses in this town were built around this time, including the house of EnderDucky17 - the oldest of all the houses. The map of New Ireland and surrounding regions dates back to May 2024. A long railway was also built by AlexIsBased around this time connecting the house of EnderDucky17 with New Hanover, stretching across almost the whole island of New Ireland.
4 - Conflict Age
This age began on the 6th of July and ended around the 12th of October 2024. Tenjin was founded on the 6th of July, and previously, the people of Papua New Guinea were the only people on both islands, with the exception of New Hanover, an island on the western edge on New Ireland. Tenjin wanted Papua New Guinea to disestablish their town and leave but the owners of Papua New Guinea refused to let go of their land. As a result, Tenjin began expanding on their island of New Britain. During this time, people began joining Papua New Guinea. The leaders of Papua New Guinea got worried that they might get robbed by Tenjin, so they set up the Trap House to defend themselves.
Tenjin also founded a new town, Acorn, right on the border between Papua New Guinea and Tenjin. Acorn took up almost all of the southern mountain. Later, Tenjin flattened out the land and ruined a house that was already there. Acorn also switched mayors constantly, which could have led to its downfall in October.
During this time Papua New Guinea was in the nation of NA and that fell, so they joined the nation of Queensland but they got kicked because they were too far away. That is why, around this time, Papua New Guinea began inviting many residents as it still does to this day. Papua New Guinea has been through over 8 nations in its history!
5 - Modern Age
This age is anything after 12 October and most buildings that are in Papua New Guinea were built after this point.
