Aurora:New Sectsland
New Sectsland, formerly known and also referred to as New Sexland (a name that despite sounding similar, has zero correlation), consists of two islands in Oceania that serve as both the capital city and first governing authority of Aurora’s Samoa. Founded June 1, 2022 by f68, it is one of the oldest towns in the region. The name was allegedly inspired by an original Sexland in North America, which f68 and TrippCam had come across prior to arriving at the then-uninhabited islands.

History
Shortly after New Sectsland was established (then as New Sexland), a player, whose name has been lost to time, had come to the eastern island and built a small house. As New Sectsland began to expand, he was respectfully evicted and went to Alaska. There was a bench dedicated to him but was removed after his significance was questioned.
Obtainment of "help" by copypaster & tensions with Greenland
"help" is a short novel written by copypaster on an unknown date of time about his personal struggles in life. Copies of the book circulated widely within the server, and the original manuscript became highly sought after. After f68’s tireless negotiations with copypaster, as well as with the government of Greenland where the book was being held, the original “help” was finally acquired for the nation of Samoa and New Sectsland for an unspecified amount of gold and favors. Many Greenlanders were extremely upset by this and it is known simply as “The Worst Fucking Day Ever” in Greenland.
Due to extreme disapproval of the government within Greenland for making this deal, it was overthrown in 24 hours in which an Islamic Caliphate was temporarily established. New Sectsland has expressed a desire to never give the book back.
On f68’s supposed Saturday Night Live cameo that never aired (in which the only source to verify he was ever even on the show is his own word), he claims to have stated he wanted the book to secure New Sectsland's place in the political and economic state of the server. As part of the deal, the undisclosed favors were apparently highly traumatic for f68 and caused him to step down as leader of Samoa on September 9, 2023. TrippCam is now the sitting leader, with f68 remaining a close advisory. f68’s resignation anniversary is celebrated in Greenland annually, in which TrippCam allows them to have the book this one day of the year. Originally done in an attempt to improve international relations, it is now done solely out of a genuine concern of their well-being in what TrippCam calls an "unhealthy obsession". The book remains on display today in Samoa’s nation spawn 364 days of the year.
Forced, alleged racially motivated name change
Sometime in late December of 2024, the mods removed New Sectsland’s original name, New Sexland, after almost 3 years due to it being “offensive, toxic, or inappropriate”. However, sex (as seen on the Discovery Channel) is a fundamental aspect of life and is not inherently offensive, toxic, or inappropriate. Due to the mods historical racism against people in this region[1] (see Beenis island rollback), this is believed to be the true motive. The town is still widely referred to as New Sexland but has been forced to identify as New Sectsland when referenced for official purposes. This name has no correlation to the word "sex", instead referring to the religious status and demonym of its inhabitants: the Sects.
