Prelude

On 21 January 2025, Kongo declared war on the DRC. The allegation that was posed by Kongo indicated that the DRC had attempted to snipe a town that Kongo claimed was de jure claimed by Kongo as their territory. The DRC denied the claim, and returned a counterclaim that the town was de facto held by the DRC, and that the town had voted to join the DRC, making Kongo's claim nothing more than an imperialist land grab.
