Amazon-Brazil Conflict (Nostra)

The Amazon-Brazil Conflict, also sometimes referred to as the Amazon-Brazil War or the Amazonian Civil War, is an armed conflict between the Empire of Brazil, and the State of Amazon on Terra Nostra which formally began on May 13th 2026.
Prelude
The origins of the war followed a rebellion by giannakycc against the rest Amazon after they requested control of the Amazon Discord. Gianna would respond by banning all other higherups within the Amazon Government. The next day later, the server was handed over to Brazilian Prime Minister DiamondMatty09 and Emperor Meshmallow. Following rumors of the discord potentially being handed back to Amazon by Brazil, Gianna wished for control of the server back so he could nuke it. However the server was rate limited at the time so he couldn't rejoin. At the same time, diplomatic pressure was mounting on Brazil to announce it's intentions openly to fully hand back the discord. Australia revoked the Honorary Citizenship of DiamondMatty09 due to his lack of intention to return the discord to Amazon. Other Australians, Brazilians, Amazonians, and friends of Matty such as LakelessLands, Minister for Infrastructure in Australia, attempted to convince Matty to hand back the discord. All attempts would be in vain however as little did they know that Gianna and Matty had already agreed to nuke the discord to prevent it falling back into Amazonian hands. Once this plan was leaked through an Amazonian double agent, Australian Foreign Minister Panth_r pre-emptively nuked the former Amazon discord at the insistance of Amazon, to deny Gianna the satisfaction of doing it himself. Matty was stood down over the incident as PM and announced to his friends and in Brazil's discord that he would be fully quitting EarthMC, which lasted for around two weeks until he joined Oceania. giannakycc also previously announced he would be quitting EMC as well.
Conflict
Amazon, with Australian assistance, then began a special military operation against the Empire of Brazil on May 13th, bridging from Bolivia towards the Brazilian capital, Rio De Janeiro. A day later, on May 14th, Amazon would join Australia as a colony. On May 28th, Texas issued a denunciation of Australia, Nubia, and Amazon, citing its long-standing policy against foreign continental powers in the Americas. Later that day, Nubia and Australia responded to the denunciation, defending their involvement, though Nubia emphasized that its role had been limited, and requesting that Texas communicate through proper diplomatic channels. Negotiations between the two powers were mediated by Australia for the Amazonian side and Nubia for the Brazilian side, eventually ending the conflict on May 29th with the signing of the Treaty of Rio de Janeiro.
