History

Origin

The iceway was originally created as a personal project of vmsvv. It was originally composed of two lines, the Main Line, going from Piana Piemontese to Ticino, and the blue line, going from the former station of Line Interchange to Padania/Benevo.

Padania, the only station in a town not part of Switzerland, was added after friendly talks between its mayor Turolatias and vmsvv.

On the opposite side the Blue Line was supposed to reach Pavia, but the project was abandoned when the main builder of the iceway, vmsvv, left the town of Piana Piemontese to move elsewhere.

Expansion

After vmsvv abandoned the project, Leobinchill took on its development. In October 2026 Leobinchill added a line going from Milan to Ticino, and after the founding of the town of Benevia, a secondary line connecting it to the Main Line.

The lines were later renamed to better suit the evolution of the project.
