Alanian Belgium (Classic)

Early History

Alanian Zeeland, formerly Belgium-Doggerland, is located in Southern Neatherlands and Northern Belgium. This outpost was originally ment to expand and own all of Belgium.

First Amsterdam Relations

Soon after the founding of the colony, Orein_ came and took over the abaondoned town of Amsterdam to the north. PolkadotBlueBear and Orein_ agreed to be peaceable neighbors as long as Belgium did not expand further East and Amsterdam did not expand further South. However this Amsterdam did not last long.

Second Amsterdam

Orein_ left Amsterdam to take over Graz, and the colony of Belgium-Doggerland had no northern neighbor. Until GamerWitness and GrabbingDragon moved in and took over Amsterdam. Alania tried to keep in force the same treaties as agreed with the pervious Amsterdam, but GamerWitness and GrabbingDragon desired control over the entire walls of Amsterdam, something that Orein_ and PolkadotBlueBear had agreed would be unclaimed by either side. Relations soon got tense, until PolkadotBlueBear generously sold one chunk to Amsterdam for 12 gold.

Soon after selling one of the chunks to Amsterdam; the colonial office in Belgium-Doggerland was greifed by a town member. It is possible that the town member who greifed it was paid to do so by GUI66 of Catalonia, however GUI66 did not admit this.

Zeeland

The Alanian Colony of Belgium-Doggerland was being consitered for unclaiming, until FrankUnderwod2 showed up and formed his own Belgium. To avoid confusion the Alanian colony has been renamed to Zeeland. The Zeeland Colony wishes for peace between Amsterdam and Belgium. However there appears to be great friction between these towns, potentionally expressing itself during the October War
