The City of Hudson was the first Upstate New York settlement on Terra Nostra, settled on April 17th 2026. It started as a fishing and logging camp. It's goal is to be a unifying town to represent Upstate New Yorkers.

History

At the first dawn of Terra Nostra, Griff___ sailed from France to North America with the goal of settling New York City. As the boat approached the shore, a booming settlement of New York City was already coordinated by _wishful and many others. Traveling up the Hudson River, a camp was settled at the intersection of the Hudson and Mohawk.

Hudson became the first official Upstate New York town of Nostra at 11:50pm EST, April 17th. For the first two weeks was a part of America, and was part of their founding constitution.

On May 3rd, 2026, Hudson joined New York under the promise of a county system to represent Upstate New York towns equally. Hudson County was established as the first county of New York State along with New York.

On May 8th, 2026, Griff___ was appointed as State Chancellor of New York to establish the County system into the States constitution and to be the representative of Upstate New Yorkers.

The Upstate New York Foundation was an organization intended to preserve Upstate New York's identity on Terra Nostra. It served as a hub for mayors across New York, America, Acadia, Massachusetts and the New England area to build interconnected infrastructure like rails, roads- while building beautiful landmarks like the Erie Canal. The goal is to benefit internal and neighboring mayors by representing a strong and unified New York that's worth traveling through.

As of the joining of Nation of New York, this foundation transitioned into Hudson County, the first Upstate county of New York.

Buildings

• The first historic townhome was constructed by the port on May 10th. In the basement, the Hudson Valley Record Company was established. It is a mixed-used building with two apartment units above.

Notable People

• Kaiterpie - Instrumental in the development of the early settlement by constructing the retaining wall, logging the area, and providing instrumental design decisions and planning.
• specil_k - Developed the first fort of Hudson and maintains the west-ward corridor of Hudson
