History

Political System

Israeli society is divided into three distinct stratums, cultivated on ideological and socio-economic grounds. Traditionally a new player will start as a member of the proletariat, though this may not always be the case if such a player exhibits unusual skill in a certain area.

Inner Party

Melech: The absolute ruler of Israel. They may only be replaced either by abdicating or by being succeeded by their chosen heir after a period of complete inactivity totalling one month.

Heir: The heir to the throne, selected by the Melech upon their ascendancy as a protege and as a second in command.

Chancellor: Tasked with managing Israel's finances and distributing resources amongst towns and departments. Sits in the Grand Treasury in Sinai.

Ambassador: Granted the authority to represent Israel on all matters of state, including sitting on any councils or organisations that have granted a seat to the Melech.

Architect: In charge of all construction projects in Israel, including those that are technical in nature.

The Starguard

Ramatcal: Commander of the Starguard. They will be chosen by the Melech upon their ascension to the throne. They may be a holder any of the Starguard offices.

Seren: One of the seven Knights of the Starguard. Chosen for unwavering loyalty to the Melech and exceptional skill in combat. One member will be chosen to serve as Ramatcal. Each will hold one of the seven offices of the Starguard, and will wear a cloak of the corresponding colour, as well as wielding the respective heirloom sword of their office. Members of the Starguard may be dismissed and reappointed by the Melech at any time.

Outer Party

Secretary: Individuals trained to perform administrative tasks. Duties include organising resources and writing reports. They may work under any Inner Party member who requires their services. They will be paid proportionate to the value of their labour. They may be assigned as a permanent assistant to an Inner Party member.

Builder: A skilled builder working under the Architect. They will receive a cut of profit from the sale of any buildings they assisted in the construction of.

Citizen: A tenured and skilled Israeli who is not part of the government, and may work as a merchant, private contractor, or sword-for-hire. Such individuals are valued by the Inner Party and may be hired to work, or called to the service of the Melech on occasion.

Proletariat

Labourer: A new player assigned to basic unskilled work such as excavating an area or building walls and fortifications. They will be given sufficient accommodation and resources free of charge.

Civilian: A new player who has not yet been assigned to any role.

Towns

The Peninsula

A collection of towns forming the capital city of Israel, located to the East of the Suez Canal, adjacent to the Red Sea.

Sinai

The capital district of the Peninsula, containing the Parliament building and city circle, as well as luxurious Inner Party accommodation. Sinai is built mainly in a Georgian-classical style, though modern and brutalist elements are present.

Eilat

Located in the South-Eastern area of the Peninsula, and built in a mixture of classical Israeli and modern styles. Eilat also contains Southwatch and its constituent port.

Tel Aviv

A port town built upon the Red Sea inlet, constructed in a traditional Danish style with Israeli and Moroccan elements. It also houses the Temple.

Garder

A region to the North-East, built mainly in the modern and futuristic styles.

Jerusalem
