Early History
Xanereth first joined EMC (Nova) on Nov 30th, 2018 under the alias of ImMidder. He ventured though the ruined towns of North Korea then left shortly after being trapped in a claimed hole, unable to leave. No towns would invite him. He would then return in 2019 a few months later under the alias of brlyliteskin or BarelyLightskin and escaped North Korea, travelled through Antarctica, visited towns in New York and Colorado in mid 2019, then was invited to Edmonton, Alberta in 2020 by xGoat_ and taken in by Salish as a builder and tunnel miner. It was then he finally chose to be called Xanereth.
Alberta and the creation of Paper Street Soap Company
Shortly after gaining the trust of Salish and Albertan players, Xanereth began experimenting with the atmosphere of the server. He opened a shop in Maluku called "The Den" and soon moved the shop closer to home at Alberta. This allowed him to sell the cheapest enchantment books on the market while maintaining good stock. It was at the time when PvP and claim-hiding was a popular topic. In 2020, Xanereth hosted his very first private tournament with no prize. This is where it all began. Alberta Casino, something Xanereth had been working on, became a dead project and was soon replaced with prototype arenas and trap designs. In 2021 Xanereth ran for Albertan Government and became chancellor. He hated the geopolitical atmosphere and couldn't stand the idea of claiming land that isn't claimed in game, "Discord politics". Soon inactivity in Alberta grew and Xanereth became impatient. "I would see players join and leave every week, almost every house was empty, until every house was empty. I had to leave."
Losing Everything for Anything
On October 14th, 2021, after saving enough gold from the shop in Alberta, Xanereth went to claim the recently fallen lands of Bermuda, and made it a nation. He destroyed the beautiful buildings, and demolished mountains. He created a small arena and found an exploit which allowed for arena plots to be keep-inventory enabled when they are close enough to nation spawn. This was then patched the next day, and Paper Street Soap Company was born. For the next several months, Xanereth would host fist fight only style tournaments in a redstone modified arena with gold, player heads, and rare items as prizes. Cheaters would be plummeted to the depths as the floor beneath them slid away. Then came a new era, Aurora. Xanereth would retire the old Bermuda, but still come back to fix the land as a side project, for it was transformed over the years.
Aurora (Current)
On 5/1/2022, Terra Aurora opened for early access. Xanereth was one of the first 50 players in, and immediately started mining. Unfortunately, the server crashed two times, and Xanereth fell asleep in a 300 player queue. He would then wake up on 5/2/2022 and create the town of Bermy with the help of Superiorglitch, Joel1sHere, and Bearyvalerie. Bermy then formed an alliance with the nation of Cuba, joining as a Province. This time however, Xanereth focused on preserving the geographical authenticity of Bermuda, and engaging more with the community.
The Cuba Raid
On May 15th, 2022, Xanereth and an unnamed Paper Street Soap Company operative would orchestrate and carry through an undercover raid in the nation of Cuba after a few popular fighters were kicked from the nation. Recent controversy had also drove Xanereth to begin formulating a backup plan. Xanereth planted a inconspicuous redstone shop into the side of Cuba spawn which sold invisibility potions. This was a cover-up, to ensure Xanereth would look like he was potion farming for a side hustle, when in reality he was preparing, and waiting for the right moment to strike. It was then Xanereth had discovered that a town member of Bermy was robbed of his shop items. Despite this only being a small loss, the two decided it was time to go through with the plan once and for all. Xanereth breached top side of the grinder, falling near the grinder's center and plugged the hole with stone while a player was using it, ensuring no drops would be claimed by anyone else. He stole 6 blaze spawners. A small victory for Bermuda.
On The Run
After the Cuba raid it had become apparent that much information about Cuba's political status were being altered or withheld. Bermuda then joined the nation of Canada, a strong contender in the geopolitical space at the time. Unfortunately Canada and California were aggressive towards one another and a Bermuda resident was slain as a result. To avoid any further conflict, Bermuda joined the nation of Caribbean, and then Niagara. After the ban of Starkiller, Xanereth returned to Canada. During this time on the run, Xanereth and the Union of Jacks terraformed Bermuda to be slightly larger, built ships, and started construction of the underground city. Xanereth could also be seen fishing at the Philippines and gathering footage of PvP battles, or even participating in them.
The Death of Xanereth
Leading up to the ban of Xanereth, he began work on decorating Bermuda, the arenas were complete, but there were still things he wanted to finish. Unfortunately Xanereth's mistakes would eventually catch up to him. During Terra Nova Xanereth was caught by moderator Fruitloopins, someone he respected for his charm and humor, for auto-clicking a blaze farm in British Columbia. He would then be caught on Terra Aurora auto-clicking by another moderator named Shia, who recorded him and posted the video to YouTube. Xanereth denied the allegations and his warn was removed. On September 23rd, 2022, Xanereth was banned while legitimately farming blazes for XP. He had promised himself after his warn that he would stop cheating and removed the auto-clicking software from his computer. He knew the legacy of Bermuda was at stake. Shia and Fruitloopins (r_drawviewmodel) shared their experience with catching Xanereth. Xanereth was then banned by Shia, and Bermuda would then be passed on to his companion Bearyvalerie 42 days later. She built a grave in the last known location that Xanereth stood and placed his two favorite masks that he wore on it to give players a face to remember. A now banned Xanereth had thought about having Bearyvalerie return the stolen spawners to Cuba, but after his ban Bearyvalerie reported that many members of Cuba mocked him and celebrated his ban. Bearyvalerie purchased a diamond silk touch pickaxe for a generous 20g to mine the spawners which were sold for 150g each, an extremely good deal at the time, and waited to create the nation of Bermuda to host one last tournament in his honor. Xanereth loved the players of EMC, and felt he had let them down. His last words before departing were the following: "It's only once you've lost everything that you're free to do anything." A direct quote relating to his skin (Tyler Durden), the movie (Fight Club 1999), and a big aspect in his way of life. Bearyvalerie promised to take care of Bermuda as to not allow anyone to desecrate his creations. In a way, he wanted Bermuda to belong to everyone.
