There is a problem with parsing the infobox

History

The Pact was founded on July 9th after many friendships and talks had been had between the second- and third-rate powers of Asia. In some ways it was the successor to the failed Asian Alliance, uniting the multiple marginal powers of Southeast Asia into one.

In Practice

While the pact was aimed a merely a regional grouping, it was never used in that regard, as after the Pock sold Sorong to the Japanese, which fatally weakened the Island Union, aggression in the region quieted down. It was used definitively though, when bunny119 and his nation attacked Malaya, Malaya and the Caspian States responded and dealt a quick and crushing defeat to the Global_Empire's forces, and their victory was underscored by the massive loss Global_Empire suffered at the hands of Seaterrica.

The pact was still not strong though, and many plans were hatched to weaken their opponents, but in the end none worked well.

Goal

The Goal of the Malayan Pact is mutual defense, to support each other should one of them be attacked in an unmotivated aggressor.

Charter of Rights

  1. We support the right of Nations and Towns to decide freely what course of action to follow regarding everything that concerns them. Their problem is their problem, your problem is your problem.
  2. To this end if one aggressor violates the sanctity of a member nation then the members of the pact will respond either in...
    1. Direct Military Assistance, which is to be provided and used against the unmotivated aggressor.
    2. Direct Diplomatic Support, should a member nation be unable to give Direct Military Assistance, then supplies and diplomatic support should be given in solidarity with the defending member.

3. The Aggressor nation must attack a Pact member before the Pact can take effect. No pact member may attack first then call in its Pact allies.
