The Republic of Dian (Chinese: 大滇民国; abbreviated as Dian), is a democratic republic located in East Asia, with its capital in Dali City. The northern border of Dian is adjacent to the Shu Kingdom, while its southern border meets with the Indochina Federation. Its main territory consists mostly of Yunnan Province in southwestern China and Myanmar, with its western border reaching the Indian Ocean. It covers a total area of approximately 3,500 blocks and has a population of around 200 people.
The Republic of Dian is a founding member of the Sino-Mutual Assistance Pact and a former member of the former Ming Federation. In March 2024, under the government-led economic policy of "resource export-oriented," Dian became one of the wealthiest countries in the Greater China region. Both its territory and population size rank among the top in the world.
The political system of Dian nominally separates the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. However, during the "Northern Expedition War" that began on April 4, 2024, the Patriotic Government took on the leading role in most domestic and foreign policies.
