Treasuregate Scandal

The Treasuregate Scandal, or simply Treasuregate, was a political scandal in the Republic of Cascadia surrounding the 23rd President of Cascadia, Capitanfra, who committed major electoral fraud in the July 2025 Cascadian Elections, which brung him to office. It was the only case of voter fraud in Cascadian history. Though the fraud did not change the result of the Presidential elections, as Capitanfra still would've beaten his opponent Setrus by a smaller margin, it did change the results of the local elections in the Frontier district.

Fraud

Capitan used Discord alternative accounts to impersonate residents of his town, Treasure Town, hence where the name originates. In total, 18 alts were used.
