Chișinău is the largest city in the Moldovan region and is part of the Soviet Union nation on EarthMC. It was dually founded and is governed by swfc and GeneralSindaco.

The city emerged in the aftermath of a civil war which led to the sale of Montenegro, the town where swfc and GeneralSindaco were originally based. Owing to mounting pressure and regional conflict, the territory was sold to Turkey for a value considered significantly below its worth, as the Turkish government sought influence over the Balkan coastline. The resulting migration and political reorganisation contributed to Chișinău’s rapid development into a major regional centre.

The formation of Chișinău caused tensions with PLC, which sought for the settlement to join its nation. Despite diplomatic pressure and regional disputes, the city remained aligned with the Soviet Union.
