Toba is entirely integrated into the natural landscape of its island home, utilizing the dense Sumatran jungle and steep lake shorelines as organic infrastructure. The town's design is defined by two distinct architectural layers:
The Waterfront Core: Situated along the natural curve of the lakebed, the ground level features highly optimized, terraced coastal agricultural paddies cultivating wheat. A rustic, hand-weathered pathway of cobblestone, coarse dirt, and path blocks connects the shoreline to a central logistics base, consisting of an organized storage house, a dedicated granary, and an elegant wooden trading dock designed for future maritime commerce.
The Canopy Kingdom (Treetop District): Embracing the massive, ancient jungle canopy rather than clearing it, the citizens of Toba live in a cozy, suspended village high above the forest floor. Inspired by organic, arboreal design, these treehouses feature intricately detailed wooden platforms and roofs interconnected by suspended bridges, utilizing natural vine pathways for vertical transport.
The Cultural Heart (Planned): The spiritual centerpiece of the kingdom is the planned grand Candi Mosque. This structural wonder fuses traditional Hindu-Buddhist Sumatran candi elements—utilizing warm, earthy clay bricks and multi-tiered tajug roofs—with Islamic architecture, serving as a monument to cultural synthesis and regional heritage.
Economy and Resources
The economy of Toba is driven by strict self-reliance and environmental harmony. The town boasts total food security through its coastal irrigation systems and features robust subterranean storage vaults.
Valuable materials are managed directly by the dual clans, including a vast array of native jungle woods and rare amethyst materials harvested from local geodes. These shimmering crystals are utilized for specialized optical tools, such as spyglasses for the treetop lookout network, and are slated to serve as mystical interior highlights for the kingdom's future grand monuments.
