Nostra:2026 Formula One World Championship
The 2026 Formula One World Championship is an ice boat racing championship and the 6th season of the Formula One World Championship. The season comprises eight races across unique circuits located on every continent besides Oceania, beginning in Zurich in September and scheduled to finish in Argentina in January of 2027. The season is the first rendition of the Championship on Nostra and the shortest ever running of the series since Nova with 2 rounds less than the 2025 Spring half-season. Drivers and teams compete for the World Drivers Championship and World Constructors Championship which are held by Bubu and Renault respectively.
The 2026 season has seen significant driver and team changes, particularly with Renault which was acquired by French capitals for 10,000g and reigning World Champion Bubu who retired after achieving his first championship at the end of his fifth season. One-time race winner KrisusQ also left the grid handing his team Warsaw Pegasus to Fabi leading to a chain of transfers which ultimately saw the team fall into the hands of Duck5goQuack who rebranded the team into ETH Al-Quack Racing. Former 2024 Championship Contender Lakeberries also announced her return to the league during the 2026 section of the 25-26 season moving to the newly rebranded Vertza Racing Team, formerly BMW, replacing HockeyMan_31. The Monster Racing Team also saw a rebrand under the same management, becoming Dinoco Racing Team and signing Seggy as their second driver whilst maintaining Mkmango in the first seat.
Entries
Teams are allowed to enter up to two drivers in each race from a selection of 2 main drivers and 2 reserve drivers. Each driver must be transferred one day before the race weekend begins and must be an approved driver by the FIA board.

Team Changes
Renault Racing was acquired in the preseason by French capitals who replaced the management. Renault and its previous two renditions were under the ownership of Bobbobster who led the team since 2023. During this time, the team was consistently the biggest title threat winning the 2024 and 2025-26 Constructors Championships as well as being runner-ups in the 2025s season. They also won a total of three drivers championships, twice with GabeTM in 2024 and 2025s and with Bubu in 2026. Bobbobsters leadership was characterised by great strategy winning them a total of 21 races in 3 seasons (excluding 2023) including a 66% win rate in the 25-26 season. Bobbobster was replaced by Talvi as team manager and management was moved to France.
Murweh GP keep cap_worm as their team principle for the fourth consective season after finishing the 25-26 season 2nd, an improvement from their previous best constructors finish of 7th. Despite not taking any race victories, the team secured 4 podiums, 3 of which were 2nd place. The team drops Euroleague as their title sponsor.
FordAudi continue their partnership under the joint-leadership of NFish and AnchoredToLife. The team's name was slightly altered, removing the dash from Ford-Audi as used in the previous season.
Warsaw Pegasus changed hands following the retirement of KrisusQ who had led the team since its acquisition in 2023, being handed to second driver Fabi. Warsaw Pegasus was transformed from a team which only scored 2 points in the entirety of 2023, despite running both drivers in most rounds, to a team which could fight for podiums and could finish both the 25s and 25-26 seasons 4th in the Constructors Championship. KrisusQ also won his first Grand Prix at the Australian Grand Prix of 25-26 with the team scoring another 3 podiums throughout the season.
Acceleron Formula One continue to be ran by Semicolon. The team is the longest continually running in Formula One having raced in the inaugural season in 2021 as well as the first race at the Spanish Grand Prix. The team has seen two major Constructors Championship victories in both 2021 and 25s with recent victories attributed to 32Jeelow, now internationally recognised as one of the greatest active Ice Boat racers. The team struggled in the 25-26 season due to lack of availability with many EMC F1 rounds running at the same time as international league Formula Craft One. Acceleron took only one victory in 25-26, during the final round of the season they secured a 1 - 2 finish headed by now Renault manager 32Talvi with Jeelow finishing second. Despite many of Acceleron's teams rebranding to Celeron, Acceleron Formula One are maintaining their identity.
BMW also announced their rebrand after the team was management was given from long-time owner Shxck to main driver F1rret. The loss of second driver Piethehead who joined the FIA Board and continual bad luck in relation to lag saw BMW unable to perform well throughout 25-26. Despite taking 6 podiums, BMW lost three races which looked, until the later stages of the race, to be victories and the team fell to 6th with F1rret moving to commentating and Formula Craft for the final 4 rounds after finishing outside the points in consecutive races. The team rebrands to Vertza Racing Team in an attempt to create a unique identity against the wishes of former team boss, Shxck.
The Uzbekistan Freddo Formula One team rebrands into the Nostra Times Freddo Formula One team maintaining the joint leadership of 12Barbruise and Pak_Choy after finishing an impressive 7th last season with multiple podiums from ameberyl.
The Monster Racing team also rebrands becoming Dinoco Oil in tandem with manager MattIsOff's teams in other IBR leagues. The team took 1 podium last season and struggled with race pace as a result of issues pertaining to lag.
Indochina has also seen its first major rebrand since its acquisition in 2022. The team ran under the leadership of Sab until 2024 when he stepped back from his main seat after achieving two Driver Championships in 2022 and 2023 as well as the 2022 Constructors Championship becoming one of EMC Formula One's greatest teams and drivers. The team was rebranded to Indochina Lamborghini Racing in the 24 and 25s seasons during which time they scored just one race victory at the finale of the 2024 Championship with Fabi. Sab reacquired the team at the start of the 25-26 season and, despite driving to an impressive p4 in his 2 outings, none of Indochina's other drivers could take home a points position, dropping Indochina to 9th. The team was handed to second driver Fauxbethvv who rebranded the team to Scuderia Sicilia and moving its base to Sicily while reversing the colour pattern.
Scuderia Genoa Ferrari continues under the leadership of Omereise and FatihAr, moving its headquarters to Turkey. The team won the 2023 Constructors Championship however declined to 5th in 2024 and 6th in 25s with the team finishing the 25-26 season last with just 2 points. Its future remains uncertain as they are yet to sign a driver to their second seat.
Driver Changes
World Champion, Bubu, retires after 4 seasons in F1. Bubu secured 18 race wins with a total of 933 points making him Formula One's most successful driver. Despite not initially being spoken as a title favourite after finishing 9th in Detroit, he surprised with victory in Maracaibo and a late-race overtake in Iran to secure a p2. After missing Australia, he won the next 3 races with rival 56Faxeo beginning to decline due to lag which Bubu did not suffer equally from. After finishing the next two rounds second to his teammate GabeTM, Bubu won the next 4 rounds, securing the title in Arctic with 3 rounds to go. He then skipped the Polish Grand Prix before retiring during the Patagonian Grand Prix. Bubu won the first race on Aurora in which he lapped the entire grid however he initially failed to secure the 2022 and 2023 championships, finishing 3rd in each. His time in Formula One was shared mostly with Bobobbster under whom they achieved two Constructors Championships in 2024 and 25-26.
The French acquisition of Renault Racing has allowed one-time race winner, 32Talvi, a seat in the reigning Constructors Champions' team, replacing Bubu. The French driver lines up alongside two-time World Champion GabeTM who, despite rumours of retirement last season, won back-to-back races in the middle half of the 25-26 season including a home race win at Medan. The British driver finished 3rd despite not running in the final two rounds. They sign French F2 driver gbaguette as their main reserve leaving the second slot empty.
Runner-up 56faxeo has agreed to another season with FordAudi after returning to the sport in 25 Spring after retiring during the 2023 season. Faxeo impressed on his return challenging F1rret at Maracaibo for race victory. His 18 points for second position were greater than his total in 2023 (15) however he failed to score another p2 with just one other podium at Britain during the season. Entering the 25-26 season, Faxeo was the clear title threat due to an impressive stint in International Boat Racing however he missed out on pole at the season opener in Detroit after making a mistake before the line. He was able to take victory after race leader F1rret crashed into a backmarker on the final lap securing his first race victory ahead of GabeTM. Bad strategy in Maracaibo saw Faxeo fall to 3rd by the end of the second round however he returned to victory after F1rret crashed into another backmarker on the penultimate lap of the Iranian Grand Prix giving him his second victory. A mistake with a backmarker while attempting to take the fastest lap in Australia meant that Faxeo would lose out to KrisusQ despite dominating the race allowing the Polish driver to take his first victory with Faxeo following this p2 with another in Indochina. He then missed the next race to compete in the International SUMMIT league and lag saw him finish with just 1 point at his race in Saudi Arabia. Persistent lag issues saw Faxeo fall out of contention finishing an unrepresentative 69 points behind Bubu in 2nd despite winning a 3rd race at Poland which was uncontested by Bubu. Despite this, Faxeo dominated pole positions and fastest laps taking 7 each for the 15 rounds.
FordAudi also continue their contract with Sepl3333 for a third season. The driver, now racing under the Russian flag, scored a personal best finish of p6 three times last season, ending 12th in the final standings. Reserve driver GroovyLav also continues with the team for his third season with the team alongside Formula 2 championship favourite Doubt.
Murweh has kept their driver line up of Rookie-of-the-year pwnings and Danish driver AkselV after both drivers impressed with multiple podiums. During the off-season, pwnings raced in the first rounds of the Formula Craft season with an impressive top 10 finish. She finished her first EMC F1 season in 4th, just 16 points behind Gabe_TM with Aksel finishing 7th behind F1rret. They are joined by nachitw who has been at the team since their debut in 2024, continuing as their reserve driver for their fourth season.
KrisusQ retired at the end of the 25-26 season after finishing 5th. His career saw him finish on the podium 3 times including a win at the Australian Grand Prix during his final season. His teammate Fabi also retired after finishing a career best 8th. The 2023 Formula Two Champion took 2 podiums during his career with a 2nd place in his final season in Poland as well as his only victory in Patagonia 2024 during the season finale. Ameberyl was originally also signed to the team but left in the pre-season, being replaced by kyle123456788 who was second in the Formula 2 Championship at the time with a p14 finish to his name in the 25-26 season after stepping in for BMW during the Polish Grand Prix. The line-up is completed by StanTheManGaming who is a rookie to EarthMC however competed across other towny leagues in previous seasons. They also have one reserve in the form of Memexcx who drove only one race in the 25-26 season at Maracaibo for the Indochina team.
'25 Spring Season runner-up F1rret continues to drive for BMW under its new identity VRT. The two-time race winner failed to secure victory in 25-26 despite losing the win in the final laps of the Detroit, Iranian and Rostov Grand Prix, each the result of colliding with a backmarker. His finishing position of 6th in the drivers standings is not representative of his drive, taking 6 podiums, 5 of which were 3rd. His season ended prematurely after suffering from lag which affected half of the grid leading to his final 2 races outside of the points in p11 and p17 respectively moving instead to working in commentating, Formula Craft and with the FIA. ameberyl has taken up the mantle of the second seat with HockeyMan_31 demoted to a reserve after an unfortunate season wound up with him taking just a single point and ending up 22nd in the standings. His Scottish replacement took multiple podiums in the 25-26 season finishing 11th in the standings despite starting mid-season. She also had a notable stint of championship contention during the 2024 season after challenging an invincible looking Gabe at the Australian Grand Prix however is still yet to take race victory. Her fellow Scotsman, Piethehead, leaves his reserve position at the team, running in a non-driver position and with the FIA for race management. The final reserve for VRT continues to be Eternal_Wind who has been in the reserve position for 5 consecutive seasons after a stint as a main driver in 2023 in which they finished on the podium twice at the Mali and Saudi Grand Prix.
Jeelow and Semicolon continue their contracts to race with Acceleron. Semicolon is now the third most experienced driver on the grid behind Bubu and GabeTM with a total of 55 races completed entering the '26 season. He has only one win to his name in Ancient Egypt 2022 however podiumed twice during the 2025 Spring Season. In 25-26, he only scored three times and finished the season early, being replaced by 32Talvi and a career low of 17th in the standings. Jeelow continues to perform in international leagues however he failed to take victory last season for the first time in his career. Despite taking pole at the first two grand prix and being a title favourite, he ended the races 5th and 7th respectively, partly to attributed to lag. Another 7th at the Iranian Grand Prix began the Formula Craft-Formula One overlap meaning Jeelow didn't race for 8 races, returning at the Arctic Grand Prix by which point Bubu won the championship and he only finished 3rd in the race. He then failed to finish on the podium in Britain and skipped the Polish Grand Prix, ending on a high of 2nd at the Patagonian Grand Prix after granting the win to rookie teammate Talvi in the final laps. Despite finishing 9th in the Championship, he had the same amount of pole positions as Championship winner Bubu (3) and the second most fastest laps (4) making him a very obvious threat in '26.
Mkmango continues his career under Mattisoff in the newly rebranded Dinoco team, supporting its management. His season was entirely corrupted by lag with all of his finishes within the points and a best finish of 4th in Britain however he also had 2 DNF's and 2 DNS' exposing a vulnerability in results. He finished the season in 16th. His teammate 4Floppa finished the season in 13th after taking a podium on return in the laggy Saudi GP. Floppa announced his exit from the sport after the Mali Grand Prix, being replaced by Mattisoff and azure_10 as reserves. Mattisoff continues as a reserve however azure's departure leaves the second reserve seat empty. The second main seat was taken up by former Murweh reserve S3ggy who drove in the feeder series of Formula Craft during the off season after being a backmarker in his reserve stints. The American driver finished 18th last season with a p6 finish at the Polish Grand Prix and winning Driver of the Day.
Hill24671 continues his contract with the Freddo Formula One team after scoring 30 points in the '25-26 season, finishing the final two races p5 and p6 respectively. With ameberyl leaving the team at the end of last season, Hill is now Freddo's main driver with the second driver slot being filled by Tendonkeys who's future remains in question after failing to perform in Formula Two. Freddo has signed azure_10 and Emiray2011 as reserves, both of whom are currently competing in Formula Two. Azure drove two races in the 25-26 season however finished a personal best of 16th.
Both Thee_Boss and FatihAr scored a single point last season. Thee_Boss, the Formula Two 2024 champion did not renew his contract with the team marking an end to his two season venture with Ferrari and three season time in Formula One. The Nubian driver scored a third place at the Patagonian Grand Prix in 2024 however only managed 3 points positions afterwards with a best finish of ninth. Fatih has also experienced a decline in performance. After winning the 2023 Constructors Championship and being Sab's closest championship rival, the Turkish driver failed to win throughout 2024 despite four podiums followed by a season where he only podiumed once in the 2025 Spring season. Despite entering 5 grand prix, he could only manage a best of p10 despite the Philippines Grand Prix not being massively competitive as well as a DNF in the season opener and multiple suboptimal results. The team's future also isn't clear without a second driver confirmed or the existence of any reserve drivers as of now.
Fauxbethvv is a driver who also struggled last season. Despite contesting 10 of the 15 races, she only managed to take p11 without much growth. Her new teammate Vellange also failed to score, also managing a p11 despite competing in the first half of the season. They only have one reserve driver signed in the form of Walltuh who, despite racing since 2022, has only achieved 10 points in F1, all of which were in 2022.
Calendar
The 2026 season features just 8 races, often described as a 'half-season' alike the 25 Spring Season as both seasons only ran within half the year. Despite being named the 2026 season, the calendar notably finishes on the second week of 2027. All continents bar Australia are featured on the calendar.

Regulation Changes
Driver regulations
Drivers are subject to greater checks of activity after controversy surrounding entry requirements in the 25-26 season. Formerly, requirements were that drivers were able to be registered if they had been a member of EarthMC for 2 months and hadn't started racing in international leagues prior to application. Updated restrictions emphasise activity within nation, playtime and board discretion however exact requirements are not public.

Scoring System
Points are awarded based on classification within the top 10 positions as well as the driver who sets the fastest lap of the race and the driver who qualifies in pole position during qualification. A driver can earn a maximum of 27 points each race weekend and a team can earn up to 45 points. A driver who takes the race win, pole position and qualifies on pole is recognised as completing a Grand Slam. Only 3 drivers have ever been registered as completing a Grand Slam since the introduction of the Fastest Lap award during the 2025 Spring Season. The driver with the most points at the end of the season is declared World Drivers Champion and the team with the most amount of points is declared World Constructors Champion.
In the case that two drivers finish on the same number of points at the end of the season, a countback on whichever driver achieved the most amount of wins is ranked higher. If both drivers have an identical amount of wins, the number of second places is considered, and so on.
