Tuscany (or Grand Duchy of Tuscany) is a nation, mainly located in central Italy and lead by the Grand Duke ashes13C. Its capital is Firenze.
Officials
Granduca di Toscana
Nation of Tuscany
Sovereign and supreme leader of Tuscany. The Grand Duke possesses unilateral executive authority over national territory, diplomacy, national development, public works, national finances, war and defense, admission or removal of towns, and the use or disposition of land belonging to the Nation. The Grand Duke may issue Ducal Decrees, appoint and remove national or Firenze officials, approve major construction, settle disputes, and act for the preservation and prosperity of Tuscany. All national offices ultimately derive their authority from the Grand Duke.
Capo di Firenze
Firenze / National senior leadership
The highest-ranking citizens and officers of Firenze beneath the Grand Duke. Because Firenze is the capital and seat of the Tuscan government, a Capo di Firenze outranks a Capo di Toscana in matters of national precedence. They are senior advisers, administrators, and trusted representatives of the Grand Duke and may be entrusted with major government, development, diplomatic, or defense responsibilities. Appointment is exceptional and based on activity, loyalty, service, judgment, recruitment, investment, and contribution to Firenze and Tuscany.
Capo di Toscana
Individual member town / Nation
The recognized head or sovereign representative of a member town of Tuscany. A Capo di Toscana governs their own town and retains substantial autonomy over its internal affairs, residents, buildings, local treasury, and development, subject to national law and Ducal Decrees. They represent their town before the Grand Duke and national government. In effect, they are the nation’s constituent town leaders, but they remain subordinate to the Granduca and, for national precedence, to the Capo di Firenze.
