Template:Basic Town InfoFree-Falklands is a town located on the west Falkland island between the towns 'West-Falklands' and 'Falklands'. It is a fairly new town in the nation of Patagonia and as of writing only consists of one individual: Joel02, the mayor.

After rejoining EarthMC after almost a year of not playing, Joel02 rejoined and created a few towns before finally settling on the Falkland Islands and creating the town on the 22nd of June 2020. This is not his first time creating a town on the Falkland islands; in early 2019, Joel02 created the town West-Falklands, which was rather successful and at one point reached over 20 players. This however did not last long, Joel02 got bored and wanted to focus more on exams at the time. Read the West-Falklands page for more information on the previous town, it still exists to this day but as a ghost town with an inactive mayor.

History

I will update this when there is more history, however so far:

22/6/2020 - Joel02 creates 'Free Falklands'. The 'free' putting an emphasis on not being apart of Argentina and also putting a clear emphasis on freedom.

23/6/2020 - Free Falklands joins Patagonia.

23/6/2020 - Joel02 finishes the massive clove tower that will be the centre of the future city and the main landmark of the whole Falklands.

24/6/2020 - Operation Repair is completed, the nearby areas were cleaned up and the Mount Maria + Adam terraformed to look natural again. Lots of remains were destroyed and land cleared for plots.

Buildings

  • (As of Tuesday 23rd June (as you can see the town is very new):
  • Parliament building - Clock tower with an extension to it containing a chamber for debate and discussion (not updated in the picture).
  • Nothing more yet, however, there are plans for many things. I will update this page when they are added.

Notable people

Mayor - Joel02

Government

  • The government, whilst not yet formed due to the fact no one has joined yet, is planned to be an extremely democratic style of governance, resembling that of real-life Switzerland.
