Description
Naval Station Severnaya (Северная военно-морская база/ СВМБ) is a collection of Cold-war and late 20th century era warships in the Laptev strait, in Siberia.
Two ships are currently complete, the 'Gremyashchy', a Sovremenny class, Project 956 Sarych guided missile destroyer and the 'Yerevan', a Kiev-class, Project 1143 Krechyet heavy aviation cruiser.
History
The base was initially intended to be a single ship. Construction was begun by Cheeseknife on April 9, 2019. Early building efforts were hampered due to the constant theft of the white concrete blocks of the first ship's waterline, as well as other decorative blocks on the ship's superstructure. Cheeseknife was not able to claim the land of the town at this stage, as he was still searching for a successor to his old town of Varna.
Finally, on April 24th, Gremyashchy was founded. However, another technical problem arose when about half of the ship could not be claimed due to its proximity to the coastal town of Vangash. Thankfully, moderator :Syn: very helpfully responded and came up with the solution of sailing the ship (who am I kidding, it was world edit) slightly to the north to prevent it from interfering with Vangash's claims, even refunding wasted gold from the town's initial creation. For this reason, Syn was awarded the Order of Ushakov, 1st class for indispensable service to the town. Syn recieved the order and citation on 11 July.
The first ship to be built, 'Gremyashchy', is a Sovremenny class, Project 956 Sarych anti-ship and anti-aircraft guided missile destroyer. It is currently pending the completion of the submerged portions of its hull. The ship is used for agricultural production and storage.
The ship is a 1:1 model of an actual Sovremenny class destroyer of the same name, which was scrapped in late 2018. Another ship, also of the same class, was renamed from Boyevoi to Gremyashchy to replace it, though is currently mothballed, also awaiting scrapping
Construction of the second ship, 'Yerevan', a Kiev-class, Project 1143 Krechyet heavy aviation cruiser, was started in early May 2019. Most of the ship's exterior was completed after about a month. It currently functions primarily as a leather prodcution plant.
Like the Gremyashch, Yerevan is also a 1:1 scale build. The ship’s name is fictional, though follows the naming convention of the four real existing Kiev class- Minsk, Kiev, Novorossiysk and Baku, being named after large cities in former SSR countries

Multiple notable players have visited the town, though admittedly mods consist of the majority of them due to the griefs and technical problems that the town has undergone. Notable visitors include:
