Franz Josef Land is a nation on an archipelago above Russia.
History
The town ice domain was founded on December 23rd and the nation was made entirely by them, no outer loans.
The Inspiration
The area of the nation has no other nations/towns, and they wanted to be an isolated nation. Hence leading the two friends to creating one in the northern regions of the world.
Growth
The capital city, was highly active through early upto mid 2020. The town never recruited, however had much infrastructure changes to accomodate the possible recruiting to take place. The nation joined as a Semi-Province of Svalbard, which at the time was large and influential in the Arctic. However, the nation soon after went inactive.
Inactivity
The nation, remained inactive through Mid 2020 to November, in which it went down to the king only left, with its other town being a 42 day logger. The nation neared many points of collapse, and the nation of Svalbard considered evicting the nation from its empire, but later ruled against doing so.

In November, wertzui and his friend, CubingEli99 both returned to EMC. The town grew slight more, but after a while, the lost intrest once more.
Golden Era
After returning in december, wertzui2, started to recruit and grew the capital by 12 chunks. He got about 17 residents over 1-2 weeks, and the nation grows with possibilites of more towns over the archipelago soon.
