The Second Epoch began when the "toxic" nations opposed to staff elitism began forming under the banner of Hoting (later Soviet) and then Tailz later made Praxis. When Praxis began their reign of terror, the first global coalitions were formed to destroy them, resulting in a life-and-death struggle for the server. After their defeat, staff globalism (CRINGE) reigned supreme in the form of PWW, and Praxis went back to Jing. The only successful place that could be staff decoupled and somehow not be cancelled was Canada. I guess they thought the leader was Justin Trudeau......? Anyways, PWW was almost instantly put into conflict with Maracaibo because aggressively snobbish staff never really understood the concept of co-existing with players instead of pinning them as enemies. PWW newly labelled Maracaibo's faction as "Toxicism" (an ideology whose sole purpose was to destroy and cause conflict). That was pretty rich coming from PWW.

After all, the guy literally only made 1000 gold from all of that.

At the end of July 2017, both PWW and Maracaibo collapsed, leaving a huge power vacuum across the server. Quickly, the nations of Canada, Jing, Sweden, and Spain took PWW's former power. In other words, the staff just flocked to Jing and Sweden. The staff also banned GuardedCharlie for being "toxic". The staff got to enjoy a reign of repression without "toxics" to stand in their way

Yet as the new era dawns, people started switching from griefing, or threatening to grief, to making cringey versions of the UN. And since this was happening, server population could grow and players could build something that could last for more than 1 month before Tailz or someone else destroys it. Since everyone who was griefing was just busy going on twitter rants on cringey discords, and drawing cringey maps.
Yet as the new era dawns, people started switching from griefing, or threatening to grief, to making cringey versions of the UN. And since this was happening, server population could grow and players could build something that could last for more than 1 month before Tailz or someone else destroys it.
