Alanian-Spainish Kolonia Dispute (Classic)

Beginning of the Incident

Alania claimed two Pacific Islands on their way to see if Tahiti exists (it does not) and claimed both Kolonia and Kosrae. Apparently Kolonia was under Spanish authority even though it was unclaimed.

The Incident

The next day Alania's leader PolkadotBlueBear recieved word that Spain wished to talk to him. NSaurioGamer of Spain said that Alania must unclaim or face War. Alania responded with the demand for 32 gold to offset the cost of claiming it. Spain agreed and the tension was diverted. Kindly, Spain also before the incident claimed to have authority over Kosrae, which Alania also claimed, however Spain agreed to recognize Alanian claims over Kosrae.

Alania then unclaimed the island and awaited full payment for it. As per the agreement, NSaurioGamer and others must not claim it until PolkadotBlueBear and the citizens of Alania have been reimbursed. On November 7th 2017 PolkadotBlueBear recieved all the gold owed to Alania and the crisis was averted.
