About
Hubbayes (more commonly known as Hubba) is a Finnish EMC player who joined the server in 2022 after watching a Drew Durnil video about the server.
History
Pre-Rovaniemi era
Hubbayes joined EMC (aurora) on the 27th of may 2022. He spawned in Kazakhstan and decided to walk to the region of Lapland in northern Finland. When he arrived in Lapland he and a friend he brought with him created a base which they called "the shit pile" because of how poorly decorated it was. At that time Hubba and his friend were planning on making a town in Lapland but after a few days they gave up on it and started travelling towards iceland. In iceland they made a temporary base to mine for gold in the side of a mountain after only one day they left the base and headed towards Greenland. When they arrived in Greenland they quickly noticed that it would be impossible to survive long enough to make a town there with the only food source being rabbits. After that realization they left Greenland and headed towards the northern coast of Brazil, there they founded a town named "parrot_coast" not long into the creation of parrot_coast Hubba's friend became inactive on the server. After only a few months of not much happening in the town Hubba left it and made his most loyal residents the mayor of the town.
Rovaniemi era
When Hubba returned to Finland he was at first planning to make the city of Turku on EMC but sadly the area was already claimed by Aland. He decided to instead go to Lapland and create the town of Rovaniemi, when he was gonna create the town he noticed that he was short on gold so his old friend from Brazil named Aralziya gave him the gold he needed to create the town. Not long after he created his town the leader of Aland visited his town requesting him to join Aland. Hubba was not very familiar with how the server worked so when the leader of Aland visited in full netherite armor, he was a bit frightened and did as he was told and joined Aland. Only a few days after joining Aland he reached out to a player he saw on the map near him who owned a town, That player was Rek3k. Hubba invited Rek3k and his friend The_Estonian_Guy to his newly built sauna. Only The_Estonian_Guy arrived to the sauna. While talking in the sauna The_Estonian_Guy mentioned thinking about making a new nation since he was unhappy with how the nation of Aland was being ran. Hubba had also had the same idea a few days before and agreed to join The_Estonian_Guy with making the nation. The_Estonian_Guy made a discord for their soon to be nation after leaving the sauna. The duo quickly asked a neighbouring town mayor to join them in making a nation which the mayor called Terrafire36 agreed to. The three of them all signed a treaty agreeing to help each other out financially, putting money towards not yet created nation and building roads and ice highways between towns that join the nation. When the then leader of Aland (9DF) heard that there were towns trying to rise up against him he was very unhappy. The leader of Aland requested his friends in the pvp community to kill any Lapland members that left their towns. Many players lost a lot of very valuable items because of this targeting. In an attack against Hubba's town of Rovaniemi by Venezuelan hunters Hubbayes blew up a house in his town infront of many Lapland players in an attempt to scare them off. After a meeting between The_Estonian_Guy and the North Sea Republic The North Sea Republic agreed to fund the nation of Lapland. Once the nation was made the targeting by hunters only got worse. But Hubbayes saw an opportunity in the founding of the newly founded and quickly growing nation. He was going to start a business, a bank where people could keep their valuable items. He presented the idea to a player he had met only a few days before while trying to buy an embassy in the town of Mehamn owned by Christwentyeight. Chris loved the idea and he designed a bank building the very next day. Once they had built the bank and set up a discord for the bank they started advertising their service to players in the nation and outside of the nation. But nobody ever used the bank. Both Hubba and Chris were disappointed in the failure, but they still had one more business idea. A shop selling concrete in bulk. The shop was first only ran by Hubbayes but he soon recruited Chris to make advertisements and a logo for him. Hubbayes was very happy with the advertisements Chris had made him. This ended up in Chris getting hired to the business and they started quickly evolving their methods of making concrete by making two semi-automatic concrete machines and starting to mine their sand and gravel for hand along with getting all their dyes themselves instead of buying them in bulk. The business quickly became a popular shop in Lapland which also made them alot of money. After the business started slowing down they decided to help eachother with getting into parliament and becoming president. Once the Lapland election was over Chris had been elected president and Hubbayes got into the parliament after 3 failed attempts before. Not long after getting into power they both noticed how unfairly the nation was being ran. The_Estonian_Guy owned the capital and the discord which they thought was extremely unfair since the president was only a title and gave Chris no power. They attempted to start a vote to change the capital which they had won in a landslide. But after requesting The_Estonian_Guy to hand over the capital, he refused. After this Christwentyeight,Mentalecho,CatboyHoratio and Hubbayes started saving up gold to create their own nation. The nation would be called Suomi and would be ran as a diarchy with Hubba and Chris running the nation. Once the day they were going to create the nation came, Hubbayes didn't have enough gold to fund half of the nations creation and Chris agreed to pay two thirds of the gold needed to create the nation. The nation of Suomi was created on the 13th of June 2023. Only a few days later they declared war on Lapland which was actually an attempt to make the two nations more active. It worked for Suomi but it only worsened the inactivity in Lapland. The war was called off after members of Suomi began to grief the capital of Lapland.
