The Municipal District of Hillsborough is (debatably) the best city located in the nation of Wollaston. Hillsborough was started on July 7th, 2024, on the coast of Big Sand Lake, located in Canada. It was founded by Mayor xed333. Nullz22 became the first citizen other than xed333 to join Hillsborough. The July 10th Banner was declared the new city banner on July 10th, 2024.

History

The Municipal District of Hillsborough was declared on July 7th, 2024 as the City of Hillsborough. The original four chunks owned by Hillsborough was declared the Fort of Hillsborough after walls were built around it. The first citizen to join Hillsborough (Nullz22) joined a few days later, he expanded the fort by half a chunk. The Big Sand Bridge was built across Big Sand Lake on July 9th to connect the two pieces of Hillsborough. The following day, the population reached three people.

Geography 

The Fort of Hillsborough is set on a small hill southeast of Big Sand Lake. The city lies upon the lake.

Buildings

• Freedom Obelisk

Freedom Obelisk is a five-block tall monument set on the plot "Freedom Obelisk" owned by xed333.

• Carrot Shop

The Carrot Shop used to be the only shop located in Hillsborough. It has since been turned into a storage area for the city government.

• Hills Farm

Hills Farm is the largest farm in Hillsborough. It is located inside of the Fort of Hillsborough.

• Lake Station

Lake Station is the iceway terminal that connects Hillsborough and other Wollastonian cities. The plot is also home to the city bank and the city council meeting area.

• Tru3Cheesus' Shop

Tru3Cheesus' Shop is the first shop to not be government-owned to be built in Hillsborough. It sells blaze rods and other Nether items.

• Jeki Airstrip

Inspired by the future airport in the capital, Wollaston, Jeki Airstrip is under construction as of July 19. Only the dirt landing strip has been built.

• The Barn

The Barn was built by Tru3Cheesus in mid-July. It is currently under construction, the roof has not yet been finished.

Outer Hillsborough includes the entirety of Hillsborough that is not inside of the Fort of Hillsborough.

Forested Hillsborough is located in all of the plots that are not claimed by a resident. This includes the Jeki Airstrip and all underdeveloped chunks.
