Kilomberox
Kilomberox (previously known as Nikocholas, iiNicoARG, AlexGamerYTT, then known as ArgieNick and ElNikocholas) was an Argentine user mainly based in South America, who occupied important political roles on the main nations of the region through 2019 and 2020. He was one of the first spanish-speakers in modern EMC and probably the most active in the server.
Biography
Dec. 2018 - Sep. 2020: Argentina
On 24 December 2018, he joined EarthMC for the first time, joining Córdoba (one of the first towns made in Argentina).
From 25 December 2018 to May 2020, he was the mayor of La Pampa in Argentina, also holding the position of interim Security Minister. Through this period, he led the Argentine army through two conflicts; War of Nuovo Palermo and the First & Second Argentine recapture of the Islas Malvinas.
Once he rejoined the server in May 2020, with Argentina still being a builder-based and inactive nation, he decided not only to stay, but to settle in Malvinas to help his mates retaking the islands. In here, he established a town that was way more active than La Pampa ever was; despite buildings were not that good, the islands were divided in districts (each with different leaders, who were quite active).
On September 6 2020, Malvinas suffered a massive raid by an unknown user, though the islanders immediately blamed NicoGNV, the only user with permissions on the plots who was not trustworthy. A latter revision by the staff confirmed this. This event halted the works on the East Malvinas district as all resources were burned or stolen, and the town leaders lost any motivation to keep going.
Kilomberox attempted to rebel against his own country due to the fact the leaders ignored what happened and did not punish the perpetrator accordingly. He settled with his co-mayors in the south of Argentina and planned a large-scale invasion of the nation, though he ultimately failed due to a lack of local support.
Sep. 2020 - Nov. 2020: Brazil
After this and considering his nation's inactivity, he moved to Brazil where his fellow friend Olivio90 was in charge. He received an important position in one of the first governments of the new republic; the Minister of Transport. While he had this role, he planned and built an entire metro/train station at Mehinaku, further expanding the train and metro lines too. With help of the active residents and some government members, he also made some roads connecting all the towns at that time, so the infrastructure of the nation improved a lot in only one or two months.
Ban
Surprisingly, he was permanently banned on November 2, 2020 for "doxxing" in a controversial report by a member of his same nation. The only antecedent he had was a 7-day ban for cheating because of using the radar option of a minimap mod for his own benefit, though he was rapidly unbanned that time.
The backstory of his ban was that he himself had created a free server hosted in Aternos so the builders of Brazil could plan buildings there together. As he had admin perms, he could see other users' IPs whenever they connected or disconnected, so he decided to seek one of the member's IP (Anothermag), as he discovered the city that IP was from, he shared it on the nation discord server, deleting and regretting after a minute. Despite this user reported him, he later apologized and regretted.
Legacy
Contributions on the EMC Wiki
Despite the fact he was banned, he stayed somewhat active in the EMC Community during 2021 and 2022 through the EarthMC Wiki, writing some articles and improving others (most of them related to conflicts). He also made some maps regarding current wars, such as the Russian Civil War and the British Secession, and he is working in map timelapses showing both sides' advances.
Brazilian tribute
Amongst Brazilian residents (specially Olivio90), his ban was considered unfair, since many others who are banned for the same reasons or even worse things are unbanned quickly or temporarily. Nonetheless, the Brazilian government (unlike the Argentine, who kept in good terms with him however) named a bridge after him in Eastern Mehinaku.
