First Falklands-Malvinas war

The first Falklands-Malvinas war was a short conflict caused by the unexpected creation of West Falklands

The conflict

Template:WarfareIn April 2019, Joel02 returned to EarthMC after a short break and created a town on the Falkland Islands. This town, called 'West-Falklands', was immediately attacked by Argentine forces when Joel02 founded the town. This was due to the fact that Argentina considered West Falklands to be "in their sphere of influence" Joel02 was expecting some trouble so he built a massive cobblestone platform to build the town on.

A lot of people from Argentina invaded the town and Joel02 in response managed to get some hits and lava bucketed some of them, he did not stand a real chance on his own though.

Later on, the leader of Argentina came on, who at the time was a moderator. He managed to convince his people to calm down and temporarily there was peace. Joel02 got :Syn: to delete the massive cobble mess he had made and then Joel02 proceeded to immediately start expanding and recruiting.

After a good 3 days, Joel02 had managed to exploit the Toycat invasion and had a decent town with around 20 people in it. Argentina was not happy at this and random forces would invade now and again.

Eventually, Joel02 joined the only other closest nation which was the Glacial_Empire. The town became rather close to the nation and ended up dramatically increasing the nation's population.

More Argentinian forces kept attacking, but this time the town was big enough to fight back with force, The Argentinians were frequently scared off and teleported back to their nation.

Joel02 and the leader of Argentina at the time managed to agree to a deal in which west-Falklands would claim the west only, and Malvinas the east only.

Things went back to being peaceful until Joel02 paid Astro_phant (trusted citizen) to create 'East-Falklands' on the eastern island (hence the name). This was a deliberate betrayal of the treaty by Joel02; in reality, he wanted to buy himself some time to take over the islands and then create a nation.

A strong force of 5 Argentine soldiers came to the town but was quickly scared off, after a short battle, by Glacial Empire and West-Falkland forces. Both parties agreed to a new deal in which there was a 'first come first served' zone in terms of claiming. Glacial empire and Falkland forces logged off for the night, only to realize in the morning that they had underestimated Malvinas claiming power. Fortunately, they had stuck to the treaty meaning West-Falklands were still entitled to more land than Malvinas under the treaty.

Things settled down for a bit until Joel02 decided to leave and focus on exams. He handed the town over to a member of the Glacial empire and it remains a ghost town to this day.

Peace deal

Falklands - Malvinas Agreement

1. Land. The land between the islands will be split in two by the Falkland Sound / Estrecho San Carlos. West Falkland is going to belong to the town of Falklands of non-argentinian citizenship and the nation the town belongs to. East Falkland will belong to both Argentina and Chile (La Plata Union) with Argentinian control.

2. Freedom of movement. Both nations will allow players from both sides to cross over and walk around the other island at any point in time, allowing them to use the transportation systems such as subways and streets, without being a threat to any player.

2.b Discussion. Any kind of argument between both sides about the falklands war and real life conflict will not be allowed between the two parties to avoid tension.

3. Violence. All forms of violence from insults to PvP between both parties will be totally forbidden and will result in a serious punishment for the citizen and a meeting between the leaders to achieve an agreement.

4. Grief. Players placing or destroying any type of block from the opposite island they inhabit will be severely punished. Mods can be called to warn and rollback any kind of damage, and ban if necessary. 

5. Cooperation. We ensure the full cooperation between both sides to resolve issues such as invasion from a third nation, or griefs and threats from other players. We will cooperate to help travelling, trade and construction for both sides to make the islands grow.

6. Agreement. This agreement was made in full cooperation between SoyGalletita, leader of Argentina, and Joel, leader of Falklands town, and can be broken at any point in time from both sides with a  previous notification.

This treaty is mostly considered invalid now because of the fact that East Malvinas has been sold, and on June 2020 west malvinas was bought by Argentina.

Resume of the War

On the 4th of July, 2020, after a series of events including the exit of the Falklands from Argentinian nation in June 22, the construction of fortifications on the British side of the island, conflict ignited after the "Mega-Nation" La Plata (in which Argentina belongs too) declared war on Falklands, as it would be know as the Second Falklands-Malvinas War. This would be prove to a larger conflict with the involvement of the Kingdom of Indochina (Falkland ally) and Inca (La Plata's north rival).
