Olave

History

Olave was founded September 2nd, 2022 by Amfirstzoomer8. The town was named after the Catholic discord server the founder was in and served as the primary recruiting tool for the town as members of the discord joined the town and contributed to its success. Members included Nitrostation126 and TreabharCarolingian. The town was originally founded during Terra Nova however became abandoned as the original founder began college. The town is currently a member of the Russian Empire nation.

Andaman Islands Pride Flag Incident

Following a post to 4chan's /pol/ and /r9k/ boards and various other social media platforms, the members of Olave launched what they referred to as "Operation Catechism", a name referencing the primary summary of the Christian faith used by Catholics, supplied pickaxes and tnt to travel to the LGBT pride flag that was created outside the Andaman Islands to grief the flag. The attack was successful as the flag was completely destroyed, however the town founder, Amfirstzoomer8, was given a warning after the incident. The attack did not go without reprisal as members of the Andaman Islands put lava in the town fountain and various other areas. The counter-attack was able to be launched as an embassy had been set up for the Islands and the ambassador was able to use the permissions to conduct the attack.

Architecture

Architecture of Olave is still being built due to the town's young age however it's tallest building is the town wheat farm shown below.

Town politics

The town being entirely Catholic is ascribed to the ideology of Catholic theocracy and is generally a socially-conservative/reactionary group. The towns economic system is free market capitalism as all inhabitants face no taxes and keep all of their property and gold. Citizens can voluntarily donate gold to the town for use of buying new land.
