Omsk(Omsk Republic, Омск, Омская Республика) - City-State on the territory of Siberia(14224 ~ 10267), Existed from 05/28/2022 to 08/10/2022. It was an independent town with its own Orthodox Church and laws.
History
Foundation of Omsk
Around May 28, the Russian guys unite and create their own private, then transfer it to Omsk Republic. Dimopay, m3dius, mrfenix2081 and 8anek could be considered the founders of the city. The very first project was the Church, which they decided to name in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
With the neighboring developing city of Tomsk, Omsk had a complicated relationship. The lack of knowledge of spoken English made diplomatic relations very difficult, but in the end there was an alliance between these cities, and a common state was planned. The mayor of Tomsk vowed to believe in the same god as they believe in Omsk.
By May 30, Omsk already had a huge treasury, new people were coming to town and all was well. The official mayor was 8anek.
By June 1, Omsk had its first problems. Omsk's local neighbors were completely non-Russian and often built their towns as bases, where they created and built all sorts of nonsense, spoiling the original landscape and "cutting" off Omsk's zone of interest. That same day, Dimopay went on a long journey across Siberia, wishing to meet with D_KVyach, mayor of Rybinsk (Russian Empire). Already in Rybinsk they had a heart-to-heart talk and Dimopay teleported to Omsk. From this point on, the idea emerged of somehow annexing Omsk to the Russian Empire in order to begin the "de facto colonization of Siberia through joint efforts". Unfortunately, as is already clear, this did not happen.
Around June 10-20, Omsk organized a special operation to clear the nearest unoccupied areas of ruins and potential cities. There was a meeting between Mayor 8anek (Omsk) and Mayor AlanionQ (Ekaterinburg). At that time, both cities were not particularly developed. The mayor of Ekaterinburg vowed to believe in the same god as they believe in Omsk.
The first and final crisis.
On July 27, Mayor 8anek disappeared, after which panic broke out on the local discord server. Before his disappearance, everyone acted together, putting their gold into the treasury, which the mayor used at his discretion. Because of this, Omsk began to stagnate, but not immediately. Some Omsk residents traveled all over the world at that time. For example, Artemii023, a resident of Omsk, managed to travel on foot from Omsk to Chicago and from Chicago to the South Pole.
Unfortunately, however, Omsk was expected to perish. Local ally Tomsk had already managed to disappear from the map, and Yekaterinburg betrayed, becoming part of the Ural Empire in the future and starting to engage in crime on no man's land.
On August 10, 2022, Omsk Republic was gone.
