Portugal is a province of Spain, having almost all of Portugal except for Lisbon.

Early History~

Portugal was a nation located in western Iberia holding the borders of modern day Portugal. The nation was founded by 73beetle and is a continuation of the old nation with the same name. It is a representative-democracy and plans to have elections for leader every 2 in game months.

The first town in modern-day Portugal was known as Lisbon. The town was the capitol of the nation Emperio, which was destroyed by a joint PWW-Sweden coalition on the first ever EarthMC war day, over 1000 gold was collected from the Emperio Nation vault, soon after this raid the leader of Lisbon left forever leaving Empirio and Lisbon to fall to Ruin.

1st Portuguese Republic

The first Portuguese Republic began when 73beetle found the ruins of Lisbon and decided to revive the city. The town grew and grew over time until 73beetle was finally ready to create the nation, Portugal. Portugal was going well with colonies in Canada and Spain, but 73beetle decided to leave Lisbon and move to France which ultimately destroyed Portugal.

2nd Portuguese Republic

The Second Portuguese Republic was refounded by 73 after some time. It saw the founding of Porto, Valencia and Madrid, and the creation of Iberia.

Annexation into Spain

Portugal was annexed by Spain, in that time named Iberia, on the 13th August 2017. Both Lisbon and Porto joined, were in a little time in Hispania and after its collapse rejoined Spain with Lisbon as capital.

Fall and ocupation of Lisbon

73beetle, who for unknown reasons acted as a retard, disbanded Lisbon, leaving Portugal without capital and betraying its people. Not long after when Porto wanted to claim it, it was claimed by Abkhazia and is still occupied today as Russian Lisbon.

Recovering

Even with Lisbon's loss and Rusty's inactivity, it became back active when Rusty came back, Porto was set as the capital and today Portugal is one of Spain's provinces with more growth.
